iphc-placeofhope-peopleofpromise-slide
The IPHC vision to be a “Place of Hope. People of Promise” (Isaiah 54:2, 3) enables us to “see” the horizon to which the Holy Spirit is calling us. We can see “Places of Hope;” we can see “People of Promise.” We envision places, people, and opportunities in our present and future that need us to be what Christ has called and empowered us to be.

The articles in this collection are examples of the IPHC as a “Place of Hope. A People of Promise” around the world.

The Power of "God Bless You"

How is it possible that one small phrase, casually written, can produce a huge impact upon a person?  I have marveled that the phrase “God bless you”, which I wrote as a throw-in statement at the end of an email, has been used by God to bring change in the lives of many people. In...

How a Humble African Pastor Rocked My World

In Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world, Christians suffer from a severe lack of resources. But that doesn't stop them from sharing their faith or planting churches. In fact, their wholehearted sacrifice sometimes puts America's well-funded evangelistic efforts to shame. I witnessed this last week when I met Donald Kuyokwa, a 60-year-old...
