Bishop McGhee's Bio

Bishop Tommy McGhee is the Executive Director of Discipleship Ministries and also serves as the Vice Chairman for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. His vision for Discipleship Ministries is to identify the best discipleship resources available to help put them in the hands of local church leaders where discipleship happens.

Bishop McGhee served as Superintendent of the Cornerstone Conference (Western North Carolina) from June 1994 until July 2012. Prior to being Superintendent, he served as the Evangelism & World Missions Director of the Western North Carolina Conference for six years and as a pastor in the conference for twelve years. He joined the Western North Carolina Conference while attending Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. He graduated from Emmanuel College with a B.S. in Religious Studies; and later from Southwestern Christian University Graduate School (Bethany, Oklahoma) with a Master of Ministry Degree in Church Growth & Church Planting.

Bishop McGhee is married to Elizabeth Frye McGhee and they live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They have two grown children – Jennifer (OKC) and Jason (Patrick County, VA). Jason and his wife, Mandy, have one daughter, Audrey who is the delight of her grandparents!

Kaleigh's Bio

Kaleigh Hamilton is a designer, bibliophile, and visionary living in the heart of Oklahoma. She graduated from Southwestern Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership. With over a decade of experience, Kaleigh’s areas of interests include creative marketing, leadership development, and digital design. Kaleigh loves iced coffee, Jane Austen, and the color pink.

Emmalee's Bio

Emmalee Bell serves as the Creative Specialist for Discipleship Ministries of the IPHC. A recent graduate of Emmanuel College, she specializes in graphic design and photography. Her passions include worship leading and helping people become their best selves through design and communication. When she’s not singing Ben Rector at the top of her lungs, you might find her at a local coffee shop enjoying an iced vanilla lavender latte.

W.A.'s Bio

The Rev. Mr. W. A. Mills, Jr. served for 32 years as a pastor in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, including 12 years in North Carolina and 21 years in Buena Vista, Virginia. W. A. has preached in camp meetings, revivals, men’s conferences, and pastors’ conferences within and outside the IPHC. He is as a member of the Appalachian Conference where he served one term as an executive council member. W. A. serves as vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees of Holmes Bible College in Greenville, SC.

Having served 12 years on the General Men’s Ministries Board, prior to his appointment as General Director of Men’s Ministries in February 2018, W. A. assumed office on July 1, 2018 following the retirement of Rev. Bill C. Terry. He now makes his home in Oklahoma City. W. A.’s passion is to lead men in becoming authentic men who in the words of Robert Lewis, “reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and expect the greater reward, God’s reward.”

Widowed in April of 2016, W. A. is the proud father of three young adult children, Rachel, married to David Wilson, Tre married to Megan Amato Mills, and Hannah Nicole Mills. W. A. is the grandfather of two very special grandchildren, Gabriel David Wilson and Calla Ruth Wilson.

Whitney's Bio
Whitney Davis is a wife, mom, writer, encourager, gatherer, and visionary. She currently resides in North Carolina. She worked for 12 years as a Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby nurse before transitioning to full-time ministry to women. Whitney is married to Brad, who has been an IPHC minister for 25 years. They have a blended family of five children- Carmen, Evelyn, Sullivan, Ellington, and Deacon.Whitney has a passion to inspire and support women on the journey of becoming more like Jesus. She believes Women’s Ministries is the arm of the church uniquely positioned to equip women for the work of discipleship.Whitney loves having coffee with friends, reading, traveling, rocking on her front porch, and spending time with family.
Shelby's Bio

Shelby Emmert was born and raised in Oklahoma. She attended Southwestern Christian University and graduated in 2015. She has worked and been involved with the IPHC since 2012. However, she officially began working at the headquarters in July 2018. She serves at Passion Church Yukon on the worship team and is currently seeking a master’s degree in counseling. She loves people and being outdoors, whether that is snowboarding or hiking.

Stephen's Bio

Rev. Stephen Jones currently serves as the Pastor of Student Ministries at Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lenoir, NC. In 2002, Stephen earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Christian Ministries from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA. In 2008, he completed a Master’s of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Since 2002, Stephen’s full-time ministry to teenagers has spanned two IPHC Conferences, three IPHC churches, and numerous IPHC summer camps. Stephen currently occupies the Leadership and Skill Development Portfolio under the Student Ministries Advisory Team. His areas of expertise and responsibilities include:

– Leading, teaching, structuring and programming for leadership and ministry-skill development.
– Advising the team about current developments, resources, and trends related to leadership and ministry-skill development, especially as they relate to youth leaders and youth ministry.
– Serving as a resource for other leaders, especially in the area of leadership and developing leaders.

Meredith's Bio

Meredith Light is originally from Southwest Kansas, but after graduating from Southwestern Christian University in 2017, she decided to officially call Oklahoma her home. She currently serves in a dual role within Discipleship Ministries as the National Coordinator for Girls’ Ministries and Student Ministries Specialist. Meredith is passionate about gender-specific ministry and believes that strong, genuine relationships with Christlike women are the foundation for raising godly girls. Meredith loves spending time with her family and friends, singing, making others laugh, and scoping out the best bargains at local garage sales.

Josh's Bio

Josh Lafferty serves as the worship pastor and youth pastor at Bethany Church in Quitman, Mississippi. In addition, Josh is a 7th grade social studies teacher and a coach at Quitman Jr. High School. Josh is currently assisting as co-pastor of a ministry project called The Well, which is centered on the pursuit of revival in the city of Meridian, Mississippi. Josh currently occupies the Bi-Vocational/Volunteer Portfolio under the Student Ministries Advisory Team. Josh’s areas of expertise and responsibilities include:

– Experience and expertise as a bi-vocational or volunteer youth leader.
– Advising the team about current developments, resources, and trends related to bi-vocational and volunteer youth ministry leaders.
– Serving as a resource and an advocate for bi-vocational and volunteer youth ministry leaders.

Josh's Bio

Josh Kestner is the newest member of the SMAT. He currently serves as the Student Ministry Pastor at CLI Church in Salem, VA. He has been in full-time ministry with college, high school, and middle school students for the past five years. He also is a football coach at Andrew Lewis Middle School in Salem. Josh is a graduate of Virginia Tech and has a Master’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry/Counseling from Denver Seminary.

Kristi's Bio

Kristi Cain has served in a broad range of discipleship capacities since she graduated from Emmanuel College in 1997. She was formerly the Executive Editor of Curriculum for the IPHC and has also enjoyed being on the staff of two churches where she directed student and children’s ministry programs. Through the years she has taught and worked on the campuses of Emmanuel College and Wheaton College as well as a Christian secondary school (Oak Hill Classical) near Atlanta, Georgia.

Kristi first sensed a call to full-time ministry as a teenager at the Cornerstone Conference youth camp, but she became captivated with the specific work of discipleship as a student in the Psychology department at Emmanuel. She then went on to receive her MA in Christian Formation and Ministry at Wheaton College. Her desire is to spend her life serving Christ by building up and supporting his most treasured possession: the Church.

She is married to her best friend, Jamie, and together they have three children: Cullen, Owen, and Annabeth. Kristi loves exploring new places with her family, conversing over morning coffee with her husband, reading, and teaching at her church.

David's Bio

David Moore has served as the National Commander of the Royal Rangers for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church since October 1998. Before coming to the national office in 1993, he worked in the Global Ministries Center accounting office. Commander Moore has been actively involved in a local outpost since 1985. He currently serves as the Senior Commander for his local church and works on a weekly basis with the Ranger Kids outpost.

Tiffany's Bio

Tiffany considers herself to be an integrator dedicated to carrying out the vision of the Church.  As a 4th generation IPHC minister, she appreciates our history while pushing toward the future.  After graduating from Emmanuel College, she felt God calling her into full-time ministry.  She has served as the children and youth pastor in the local church. Tiffany currently serves as the Conference Children’s Pastor on the NC Conference DM Council and on the Leadership Council at her local church in Garner, NC. 

 Tiffany loves to travel with her sweetheart, Christopher, and their two beautiful girls, Sadie Grace and Nina Kate.  Lately, if she’s not taking a trip or hosting an event, she’s planning a trip or event.
