Rachael Ward and her husband, Tr\u00e9s.<\/p><\/div>\n

No one can <\/span>s<\/span>hare the impact<\/span> the Women\u2019s Leadership Gathering<\/span> has had<\/span> better<\/span> than an attendee. Rachael Ward<\/span> (Cornerstone Conference)<\/span> is the Campus Events Coordinator for Emmanuel University. <\/span>When she and her husband, <\/span>Tr\u00e9s<\/span>, are not traveling with Emmanuel Singers, they minister in churches across the denomination<\/span>, and most recently, Rachael <\/span>spoke at the Created East event which <\/span>focuses on young women ages 8-18 years old<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rachael\u2019s fun and inspiring spirit is seen during Saturday\u2019s Game Night events.<\/p><\/div>\n

During the<\/span> Women\u2019s Leadership Gathering<\/span>, Rachael <\/span>gave as much as she received by leading the group as \u201chype woman<\/span>\u201d and MC<\/span>,<\/span> and <\/span>she <\/span>was<\/span> also<\/span> affectionately <\/span>named <\/span>\u2018Rhoda\u2019 <\/span>by Natalie [<\/span>Runion<\/span>].<\/span><\/p>\n

Rachael shares her thoughts about the event below. Please read and be inspired by what the Holy Spirit is doing in the women of the IPHC<\/span>!<\/span><\/p>\n

What are you<\/span>r<\/span> overall thoughts\/takeaways from the event?<\/span>
\nThere is a surge of electric energy connecting the ladies in leadership throughout the IPHC. It spans across generations<\/span>,<\/span> and many of us are catching on and ready to see what God has for our future. It is evident that He is calling us to higher places, and we refuse to stand by and watch it happen. <\/span>Women bring dynamic elements that are necessary for both a strong foundation and continual building of the Kingdom.<\/span> For this reason, it is crucial that we follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we prepare for 2024 and beyond. <\/span><\/p>\n

What did you love most about the event?<\/span>
\nThe eagerness to gain a deeper understanding and excitement for the Word always encourages me<\/span>,<\/span> and it was obvious with this group of ladies! <\/span>I found great joy in knowing that each person and community represented at the event would be positively <\/span>affected<\/span> long-term by the wisdom gained through Natalie <\/span>Runion\u2019s<\/span> experiences.<\/span> She is a down-to-earth, genuine jewel and<\/span>,<\/span> most importantly, a true carrier of His presence! <\/span>
\nOf course, a secondary highlight for me was getting to know each unique gal in the room through our game night that was an explosion of fun. I love to see ladies operate in their giftings even through a silly game of Pictionary or \u201cName that <\/span>T<\/span>une!\u201d I\u2019m talking, a knock-down, drag-out, competition between two teams trying to bring home the \u201cW\u201d for their church. Ha! So much talent, wit, and laughs were shared.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why <\/span>are <\/span>events like this important for women within IPHC and in general<\/span>?<\/span>
\nIn a world where the enemy wants to isolate and divide us, it is important to recognize that not one of us is alone in our struggles.<\/span> Coming together with others and being able to not only <\/span>reflect, but also empathize and encourage one another at these types of events is invaluable for all involved. Opportunities to serve each other and relate in new ways allow for fresh perspectives that lead to newfound strengths. We<\/span>,<\/span> as women, MUST stick together for our own mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health <\/span>in order to<\/span> continue pouring into our families, friends, communities, and churches. Whitney is doing a phenomenal job of creating a culture where women feel empowered to rise to the occasion<\/span>,<\/span> and I am so excited to be a part!<\/span><\/p>\n

Whitney Davis is a wife, mom, encourager, and visionary. She is a South Carolina girl who now calls North Carolina home. She worked for 12 years as a Labor & Delivery and Mother\/Baby nurse before transitioning to full-time ministry to women. Whitney grew up in the IPHC and her husband, Brad, has been an IPHC minister for over 20 years. They have a blended family of five children- Carmen, Evelyn, Sullivan, Ellington, and Deacon.<\/p>\n

Whitney has a passion for helping women on the journey of becoming more like Jesus. She desires for Women\u2019s Ministries to be the arm of the church that is uniquely positioned to equip women for the work of discipleship.<\/p>\n
