Children’s Ministry Team<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For those of us who are called to children\u2019s ministry, there\u2019s typically not a shortage of desire to influence the lives of kids. We sincerely love God, love kids, love their parents, and are grateful for the opportunities to share, teach, and come alongside them. However, there are times when we may experience a shortage of resources, ideas, or help.<\/h3>\n

In 2015, Discipleship Ministries created the Children\u2019s Ministry Team. The Team was formed to effectively determine how to meet the shortage of needs that pastors and parents may experience. The Children\u2019s Ministry Team consists of four areas within Discipleship Ministries: IPHC KidMin Consultant, Dr. Ellen Moore, Boys Ministry Director, David Moore, Girls Ministry Director Irvina Parker, and Creative Specialist, Lindsey Snider. The team determined three goals for the 2016 year: Connect, Train, and Resource.<\/p>\n

Connect<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Connection is vital to our lives and to fulfilling our callings. God did not create us to be one-man-shows, but rather to function as many parts of one body. We want to build a network of children\u2019s ministry leaders across the IPHC to share ideas, resources, and encouragement. When we do life and ministry together, we\u2019ll be much more effective and have a lot more fun!<\/p>\n

Train<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Training is also an important component of fulfilling our personal, our church\u2019s, and our denomination\u2019s missions. Thankfully, God promises to equip us to do what He\u2019s asked of us. \u201cGod is working in you to make you willing and able to obey Him.\u201d (Philippians 2:13, CEV) He equips us supernaturally by His Holy Spirit; He has given us natural gifts and abilities; and He has placed us in a family of believers to be able to teach, share, and learn from each other. Through Discipleship Ministries, we would love the opportunity to be part of that process, providing training for leading and inspiring kids to become Christ followers by engaging parents in a partnership with the local church family. We each have a significant role to play and we\u2019ll be much more effective when we do it together.<\/p>\n

Resource<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We can\u2019t do any of this without resources. On one hand there never seems to be enough volunteers, budget, or support, while at the same time there is a mountain of resources on Google, Pinterest, and curriculum sites that can be daunting to weed through. Our goal this year is to help you with resources. We\u2019ll be able to provide some, as well as bring awareness to a variety of quality, affordable resources for children\u2019s ministry leaders, volunteers, and parents. In short, our heart\u2019s desire is to come alongside you to help further equip you in the ministry God has called you to do. Equipo de Ministerio de Ni\u00f1os<\/strong> <\/h2>

Para aquellos de nosotros que son llamados al ministerio de los ni\u00f1os, no hay normalmente una falta de deseo de influir en la vida de los ni\u00f1os. Sinceramente amamos a Dios, amor a los ni\u00f1os, aman a sus padres, y estamos agradecidos por la oportunidad de compartir, ense\u00f1ar, y vienen junto con ellos. Sin embargo, hay ocasiones en las que podemos experimentar una escasez de recursos, las ideas, o ayuda. <\/h3> En 2015, Discipulado Ministerios Equipo creado Ministerio de los Ni\u00f1os. Queremos construir una red de l\u00edderes del ministerio de los ni\u00f1os en todo el IISP para compartir ideas, recursos y \u00e1nimo. Tren<\/strong> <\/h2> La formaci\u00f3n es tambi\u00e9n un componente importante del cumplimiento de nuestro personal, nuestra iglesia de, y las misiones de nuestra denominaci\u00f3n. Afortunadamente, Dios promete dotar a hacer lo que \u00c9l nos pide. "Dios est\u00e1 trabajando en ti para que te quiere y puede obedecer a \u00c9l." (Filipenses 2:13, NVI) \u00c9l nos equipa sobrenaturalmente por el Esp\u00edritu Santo; \u00c9l nos ha dado dones y capacidades naturales; y \u00c9l nos ha colocado en una familia de creyentes para ser capaces de ense\u00f1ar, compartir y aprender unos de otros. A trav\u00e9s de los Ministerios Discipulado, nos encantar\u00eda la oportunidad de ser parte de ese proceso, proporcionando entrenamiento para dirigir e inspirar a los ni\u00f1os a convertirse en seguidores de Cristo mediante la participaci\u00f3n de los padres en una asociaci\u00f3n con la familia de la iglesia local. Recurso<\/strong> <\/h2> No podemos hacer nada de esto sin recursos. Por un lado, parece que nunca hay suficientes voluntarios, presupuesto o de apoyo, mientras que al mismo tiempo hay una monta\u00f1a de los recursos de Google, Pinterest, y sitios del plan de estudios que pueden ser de enormes proporciones para eliminar a trav\u00e9s. Nuestra meta este a\u00f1o es para ayudarle con los recursos. Podremos proporcionar alguna, as\u00ed como hacer tomar conciencia de una variedad de recursos de calidad, asequibles para los l\u00edderes del ministerio de los ni\u00f1os, voluntarios y padres.
