Since 1946, Southwestern Christian University (SCU) has invested in students. No matter what a student\u2019s original intention, they leave SCU with a solid foundation rooted in community. SCU is where you make life-long friends and find your God-given purpose. If you share the sentiment about your alma mater, join us on November 3-4, 2017 for our Homecoming Celebration. To celebrate this sentiment, the theme is Life in Color<\/em><\/strong>. Students may arrive as a blank canvas eager to explore the world and discover their purpose. During their time, God paints a beautiful masterpiece through opportunities, campus life, and blossoming relationships with God and each other.<\/p>\n

There are many activities available throughout the weekend to reacquaint yourself with old friends and meet some new ones. Friday morning starts with registration and a Life in Color 5k Run at 9:00 am. Let us know if you would like to help create the Campus Spirit for the Homecoming basketball games. Plan to participate or watch the alumni basketball games which start at 7:00 pm. Contact Mark Arthur (mark.arthur@swcu.edu<\/a>) to join a team. Saturday starts another full day with the Singing Reunion at 10:00 am, Alumni & Friends Luncheon at 12:00, women\u2019s basketball game at 2:00, men\u2019s basketball game at 4:00, and will conclude with the Alumni Banquet at 6:30 pm with the Vision 4 Education Presentation (formerly Feast of Ingathering) by Women\u2019s Ministries.<\/p>\n

We hope you\u2019ll take an opportunity to tour the new facilities and help us celebrate all that God is doing on campus. We want our students to leave this weekend with an anticipation of when they join the ranks of our cherished alumni and friends. Please help them feel a sense of how God creates community even as they encounter His presence in every aspect of the SCU culture.<\/p>\n

Para celebrar este sentimiento, el tema es Vida en Color<\/em><\/strong> . Los estudiantes pueden llegar como un lienzo en blanco ansioso por explorar el mundo y descubrir su prop\u00f3sito. Durante su tiempo, Dios pinta una hermosa obra maestra a trav\u00e9s de oportunidades, la vida en el campus y las relaciones florecientes con Dios y entre s\u00ed. Hay muchas actividades disponibles durante todo el fin de semana para reacquaint usted mismo con viejos amigos y conocer algunos nuevos. El viernes por la ma\u00f1ana comienza con el registro y una Vida en Color 5k Ejecutar a las 9:00 am. H\u00e1ganos saber si le gustar\u00eda ayudar a crear el Campus Spirit para los juegos de baloncesto de regreso al hogar. Planea participar o ver los partidos de baloncesto de los ex alumnos que comienzan a las 7:00 pm. P\u00f3ngase en contacto con Mark Arthur ( mark.arthur@swcu.edu<\/a> ) para unirse a un equipo. Esperamos que aproveche la oportunidad para recorrer las nuevas instalaciones y ayudarnos a celebrar todo lo que Dios est\u00e1 haciendo en el campus.
