Megan effortlessly mixed humor with truth as she spoke from Genesis 1: “If you lived like God was the main character, not you, how would your story change?” Friday evening was the much-anticipated concert with Crowder, and the band did not disappoint. Both students and leaders enjoyed an evening of worship together.

Saturday morning dawned bright and early for youth pastors and leaders as they attended the Youth Pastors Breakfast with a special teaching for leaders from Megan Fate Marshman. Megan challenged the leaders to create space in their ministry for students to respond to the Holy Spirit. Megan continued her teaching into the morning service where she shared the amazing testimony of leading her grandmother to the Lord.

Saturday evening marked another historic moment for Accelerant, with a record setting $10k plus raised for the Project Offering. Accelerant and YouthQuest partner together to raise funds for a special project each year. This year’s project is to raise money for a generator for our IPHC churches in Puerto Rico. The island is still recovering from the devastation that hit in 2017 through Hurricane Maria. The Project Offering will go towards helping our churches continue to serve in Puerto Rico!

Saturday evening also introduced Robert Madu to the Accelerant family. Robert took the humor and truth that Megan began and continued to keep the crowd laughing and nodding in agreement as he spoke about using the gifts that God has given us.

Sunday morning saw a powerful close to Accelerant 2018. Robert Madu spoke a message that had many students and leaders flooding the altars to receive salvation, healing, and prayer.

“It never ceases to amaze me how the Holy Spirit orchestrates these events to impact people’s lives,” stated Bishop Greg Amos, President of Accelerant, “Lives were touched and changed in significant ways, several stood for first time salvation and groups lingered around the altar in ministry well after most had left. Part of that success is due to the role of the Intercessory Prayer Team that goes to hotels, the ski slopes, and the Convention Center to pray for safety and the liberty of the Holy Spirit.”

We believe Accelerant 2018 will continue to bear fruit for months to come!
