It\u2019s Oklahoma\u2026where the wind comes sweeping down the plains. Recently, while finalizing notes for an upcoming conference, sounds of the wind were louder than normal. I could hear things bouncing around in my yard and suddenly something crashed into the side of my house. I quickly got up to go see what happened. To my relief, it was only a lawn chair and nothing was damaged. At that point, I knew God was giving me an object lesson to confirm the word I had been preparing for weeks. He spoke to my heart, \u201cSee, it was the sound that moved you \u2013 it\u2019s in the sound.\u201d<\/p>\n
There is a sound needed to \u201cmove\u201d the body of Christ today. A sound that moves us back to the roots of being \u201cunashamedly Pentecostal.\u201d It is the Sound of His Presence<\/em>, and it brings with it power from on high. Acts 2 clearly tells us what came with the sound on the Day of Pentecost. While believers were together, praying, expecting something yet unknown to them, there came a sound from heaven. A sound unlike what they had heard before; a sound like a rushing mighty wind. This sound came from heaven and was powerful enough to fill the whole house. It came with fire which sat upon each one present. Immediately, all were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to make a SOUND! This rushing mighty wind came as the immediate sound<\/em> and brought forth a power-filled sound<\/em> from those present.<\/strong><\/p>\n If ever there has been a time for the Church to share the sound of His Presence, it is now. Some of you reading this article have been quiet for so long, you wonder if a sound is even possible. Some may be thinking, \u201cI don\u2019t know if that\u2019s relevant now or I think we should be quiet and orderly, not to upset anyone.\u201d I say, if you want to grab the attention of the world around you \u2013 a world lost in the sounds of deception and despair \u2013 you are going to have to make some noise. There is freedom in the sound of His Presence!<\/strong><\/p>\n There is also purpose in the sound of His presence. The sound of Pentecost came to catch the attention and empower those praying that day. They were waiting for a purpose to be revealed, a gift Jesus promised. Unaware of how this \u201cgift the Father promised\u201d would manifest, they trusted it would come. So, they waited as Jesus had instructed. When it came, it shook them out of their mindsets of wondering \u201cwhat now,\u201d to understanding, \u201cwhat next.\u201d The purpose was released and they were moved to \u201cgo and tell.\u201d What if today\u2019s Church were to rekindle the sound of His Presence? What if a sound of Pentecost overtook our churches today? Would we, like those coming out of the Upper Room, turn our world upside for Jesus? I believe so and I declare it is coming to this generation of believers!<\/p>\n Something heavenly happened on the day of Pentecost. It not only created a significant sound; the sound of His Presence<\/em>; it not only revealed the sound of His Purpose<\/em>; it created a movement \u2013 the sound of His people<\/em>. It set the church in motion to fulfill the Great Commission. Those experiencing the manifestations that came with the sound of the rushing mighty wind were forever changed. They walked out filled with power, speaking in tongues, anointed, and ready to do whatever necessary to spread the good news of the gospel. The Word tells us that Peter and John, moved by the sound, once declared, \u201cFor us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.\u201d<\/p>\n Today\u2019s Church cannot afford to disregard this sound from heaven any longer. The world needs to hear the sound shut up inside of you. We must remember, the sound of His Presence<\/em> doesn\u2019t rest on a program, a man\u2019s platform, through a building, or specific worship style. It blows upon a people set apart, determined to speak the truth in love, and carry the gospel message into the uttermost parts of the world.<\/p>\n Are you listening? Are you speaking? Is His sound alive and active in your life today? If not, I challenge you to go back to your prayer closet and seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Ask God to blow fresh wind in your life. A wind carrying a sound that overcomes the sounds of deception and despair in this world. A sound which will move you to become a world changer. Pod\u00eda escuchar cosas rebotando en mi patio y de repente algo se estrell\u00f3 en el costado de mi casa. R\u00e1pidamente me levant\u00e9 para ir a ver qu\u00e9 pasaba. Para mi alivio, solo era una silla de jard\u00edn y nada estaba da\u00f1ado. En ese momento, supe que Dios me estaba dando una lecci\u00f3n objetiva para confirmar la palabra que hab\u00eda estado preparando durante semanas. \u00c9l habl\u00f3 a mi coraz\u00f3n: \"Mira, fue el sonido lo que te conmovi\u00f3, est\u00e1 en el sonido\". Hay un sonido necesario para \"mover\" el cuerpo de Cristo hoy. Un sonido que nos traslada a las ra\u00edces de ser \"sin verg\u00fcenza pentecostal\". Es el sonido de su presencia<\/em> , y trae consigo poder desde lo alto. Hechos 2 claramente nos dice lo que vino con el sonido en el D\u00eda de Pentecost\u00e9s. Mientras los creyentes estaban juntos, orando, esperando algo a\u00fan desconocido para ellos, vino un sonido del cielo. Un sonido a diferencia de lo que hab\u00edan o\u00eddo antes; un sonido como un fuerte viento apresurado. Este sonido vino del cielo y fue lo suficientemente poderoso como para llenar toda la casa. Vino con fuego que se sent\u00f3 sobre cada uno de los presentes. \u00a1Inmediatamente, todos fueron llenos del Esp\u00edritu Santo y comenzaron a hacer un SONIDO! Este viento fuerte y apresurado vino como un sonido<\/em> inmediato y produjo un sonido<\/em> lleno de poder de los presentes.<\/strong> Si alguna vez ha habido un tiempo para que la Iglesia comparta el sonido de Su Presencia, es ahora. Algunos de ustedes que leen este art\u00edculo han estado callados durante tanto tiempo, se preguntan si un sonido es posible. Algunos pueden estar pensando: \"No s\u00e9 si eso es relevante ahora o creo que deber\u00edamos estar tranquilos y ordenados, no para molestar a nadie\". Digo, si quieres llamar la atenci\u00f3n del mundo que te rodea, un mundo perdido. En los sonidos de enga\u00f1o y desesperaci\u00f3n, tendr\u00e1s que hacer algo de ruido. \u00a1Hay libertad en el sonido de Su Presencia!<\/strong> Tambi\u00e9n hay prop\u00f3sito en el sonido de Su presencia. El sonido de Pentecost\u00e9s lleg\u00f3 para captar la atenci\u00f3n y empoderar a aquellos que rezan ese d\u00eda. Estaban esperando que se revelara un prop\u00f3sito, un regalo que Jes\u00fas prometi\u00f3. Sin darse cuenta de c\u00f3mo se manifestar\u00eda este \"don prometido por el Padre\", confiaban en que llegar\u00eda. Entonces, esperaron como Jes\u00fas hab\u00eda instruido. Cuando lleg\u00f3, los sac\u00f3 de sus mentes de preguntarse \"qu\u00e9 ahora\", a entender, \"qu\u00e9 sigue\". El prop\u00f3sito se liber\u00f3 y se les movi\u00f3 a \"ir y decir\". \u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si la Iglesia de hoy reavivara el sonido? de su presencia? \u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si un sonido de Pentecost\u00e9s sobrepasara nuestras iglesias hoy? \u00bfPodr\u00edamos nosotros, como aquellos que salen de la Sala Superior, convertir nuestro mundo al rev\u00e9s para Jes\u00fas? \u00a1Lo creo y declaro que est\u00e1 llegando a esta generaci\u00f3n de creyentes! Algo celestial sucedi\u00f3 en el d\u00eda de Pentecost\u00e9s. No solo cre\u00f3 un sonido significativo; el sonido de su presencia<\/em> ; no solo revel\u00f3 el sonido de Su Prop\u00f3sito<\/em> ; cre\u00f3 un movimiento - el sonido de su pueblo<\/em> . Puso a la iglesia en movimiento para cumplir con la Gran Comisi\u00f3n. Aquellos que experimentaron las manifestaciones que vinieron con el sonido del fuerte viento que corr\u00eda fueron cambiados para siempre. Salieron llenos de poder, hablando en lenguas, ungidos y listos para hacer lo que fuera necesario para difundir las buenas nuevas del evangelio. La Palabra nos dice que Pedro y Juan, conmovidos por el sonido, una vez declararon: \"Para nosotros, no podemos evitar hablar sobre lo que hemos visto y o\u00eddo\". La Iglesia de hoy ya no puede permitirse ignorar este sonido del cielo. El mundo necesita escuchar el sonido encerrado dentro de ti. Debemos recordar que el sonido de Su Presencia<\/em> no descansa en un programa, en la plataforma de un hombre, a trav\u00e9s de un edificio o en un estilo de adoraci\u00f3n espec\u00edfico. Golpea a un pueblo apartado, decidido a decir la verdad con amor y llevar el mensaje del evangelio a las partes m\u00e1s extremas del mundo. \u00bfEstas escuchando? \u00bfEst\u00e1s hablando? \u00bfSu sonido est\u00e1 vivo y activo en tu vida hoy? Si no, te reto a que vuelvas a tu cuarto de oraci\u00f3n y busques el bautismo del Esp\u00edritu Santo. P\u00eddele a Dios que sopla viento fresco en tu vida. Un viento que lleva un sonido que supera los sonidos de decepci\u00f3n y desesperaci\u00f3n en este mundo.
