Excitement was in the air as 200 men from the Northwest Latin Conference gathered in Sunnyside, Washington for an all-day Men\u2019s Retreat on Saturday, March 30, 2019.\u00a0 NW Latin Men\u2019s Ministries Director, Jose Moreno, did a phenomenal job planning, promoting, and leading the events of the day. He carefully ensured all details were properly ordered in the natural, so the Holy Spirit could operate in the supernatural.\u00a0 Bishop Eleuterio Prieto\u2019s strong leadership was evident in his participation, support, and encouragement.<\/p>\n

The theme of the day was IPHC Men\u2019s Ministries 2019 theme, \u201cGuard This Man\u201d from 1 Kings 20:39.\u00a0 There were a total of five day sessions and one early evening service.\u00a0 IPHC Men\u2019s Ministries Director, Rev. W. A. Mills, expounded upon the theme exhorting the men present to embrace every man\u2019s number one responsibility of \u201cguarding this man,\u201d so that \u201cthis man\u201d would be sound in doctrine, strong in fellowship, steadfast in prayer, and successful in witness as demonstrated in the first century church of Acts 2.<\/p>\n

The day culminated with an early evening worship service.\u00a0 Director Mills preached, from Zechariah 8:20 and Romans 8:25, a message entitled \u201cYet.\u201d He encouraged the men to hold fast to the profession of their faith, in the face of all life\u2019s obstacles, knowing the best is YET to come.\u00a0 The men responded favorably throughout the day with personal prayer, small group intercession, and extended times of seeking the Lord.\u00a0 They worshipped the perfect man, Christ, in spirit and in truth, passionately expressing their exuberant praise and reverent worship to the King of kings and Lord of lords.<\/p>\n

All the sessions were bilingual in Spanish and English.\u00a0 Director Mills was blessed to have capable translators who interpreted in rhythm with him.\u00a0 He spoke six times on Saturday and three times on Sunday, totaling nine times in two days.\u00a0 W. A. said, \u201cI have never run a marathon, but I imagine it was similar in energy expended, adrenaline experienced, and most importantly connections made in the race to be all there.\u201d\u00a0 God is on the move in the Northwest Latin Conference. Great things are happening and greater things are yet to come.<\/p>\n

El Director de Ministerios de los Hombres Latinos de NW, Jos\u00e9 Moreno, hizo una fenomenal planificaci\u00f3n de trabajo, promoviendo, y liderando los eventos del d\u00eda. Se asegur\u00f3 cuidadosamente de que todos los detalles fueran ordenados apropiadamente en lo natural, para que el Esp\u00edritu Santo pudiera operar en lo sobrenatural. El fuerte liderazgo del obispo Eleuterio Prieto fue evidente en su participaci\u00f3n, apoyo y aliento. El tema del d\u00eda fue el tema del Ministerio de Hombres de IPHC 2019, \"Guarda a este hombre\" de 1 Reyes 20:39. Hubo un total de sesiones de cinco d\u00edas y un servicio temprano en la noche. El Director de Ministerios de Hombres de IPHC, Reverendo WA Mills, expuso sobre el tema exhortando a los hombres presentes a abrazar la responsabilidad n\u00famero uno de cada hombre de \"proteger a este hombre\", para que \"este hombre\" sea s\u00f3lido en la doctrina, fuerte en el compa\u00f1erismo, firme en oraci\u00f3n y \u00e9xito en el testimonio como se demuestra en la iglesia de Hechos 2 del primer siglo. El d\u00eda culmin\u00f3 con un culto vespertino temprano. El Director Mills predic\u00f3, de Zacar\u00edas 8:20 y Romanos 8:25, un mensaje titulado \"A\u00fan\". Alent\u00f3 a los hombres a que se aferraran a la profesi\u00f3n de su fe, frente a todos los obst\u00e1culos de la vida, sabiendo que lo mejor es A\u00daN para ven. Adoraron al hombre perfecto, a Cristo, en esp\u00edritu y en verdad, expresando apasionadamente su exuberante alabanza y adoraci\u00f3n reverente al Rey de reyes y al Se\u00f1or de se\u00f1ores. Todas las sesiones fueron biling\u00fces en espa\u00f1ol e ingl\u00e9s. El director Mills tuvo la bendici\u00f3n de tener traductores capaces que interpretaron al ritmo de \u00e9l. \u00c9l habl\u00f3 seis veces el s\u00e1bado y tres veces el domingo, totalizando nueve veces en dos d\u00edas. WA dijo: \"Nunca he corrido una marat\u00f3n, pero me imagino que fue similar en energ\u00eda gastada, adrenalina experimentada y, lo m\u00e1s importante, conexiones hechas en la carrera para estar ah\u00ed\".
