As we wind down our focus on \u201cStrong in Fellowship\u201d in Discipleship Ministries this month, I wanted to share a link to an article that immediately resonated with my spirit when a friend tagged me with it on Facebook. I realize that not everyone can identify with it, but I can because my story is so similar to the author\u2019s story.<\/p>\n

I have been blessed with a great group of friends; the majority of us have been doing life together for most of our adult years. Our kids have grown up together in Royal Rangers, Girls\u2019 Ministries, and youth group. We have laughed together and cried together. We have said goodbye to parents together, and we have welcomed new life into our families. I wouldn\u2019t trade it for the world. It is that Christ-centered fellowship that has kept us grounded and focused on the important things. It is worth a reminder that our churches are the perfect place to provide ministries for these kinds of friendships and lasting relationships to flourish.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s through adult ministries or children\u2019s ministries, Church is the place to make it happen!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

A medida que reducimos nuestro enfoque en "Strong in Fellowship" en Discipleship Ministries este mes, quise compartir un enlace a un art\u00edculo que inmediatamente reson\u00f3 en mi esp\u00edritu cuando un amigo me etiquet\u00f3 en Facebook. Me doy cuenta de que no todos pueden identificarse con \u00e9l, pero puedo porque mi historia es muy similar a la historia del autor. <\/p>

He sido bendecido con un gran grupo de amigos; la mayor\u00eda de nosotros hemos estado haciendo la vida juntos durante la mayor parte de nuestros a\u00f1os adultos. Nuestros hijos han crecido juntos en Royal Rangers, Ministerios de ni\u00f1as y grupos de j\u00f3venes. Nos hemos re\u00eddo juntos y hemos llorado juntos. Nos hemos despedido de los padres y hemos dado la bienvenida a nuestras familias con una nueva vida. No lo cambiar\u00eda por nada del mundo. Es el compa\u00f1erismo centrado en Cristo que nos ha mantenido enraizados y enfocados en las cosas importantes. Vale la pena recordar que nuestras iglesias son el lugar perfecto para proporcionar ministerios para que florezcan este tipo de amistades y relaciones duraderas. <\/p>
