{"id":940,"date":"2014-11-03T21:05:05","date_gmt":"2014-11-03T21:05:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iphc.org\/discipleship\/?p=940"},"modified":"2014-11-03T21:14:08","modified_gmt":"2014-11-03T21:14:08","slug":"four-verses-for-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iphc.org\/discipleship\/2014\/11\/03\/four-verses-for-women\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Verses for Women"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/discipleship\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/11\/verses-for-women-copy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-941\" src=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/discipleship\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/11\/verses-for-women-copy.jpg\" alt=\"verses for women copy\" width=\"727\" height=\"392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/discipleship\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/11\/verses-for-women-copy.jpg 727w, https:\/\/iphc.org\/discipleship\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/11\/verses-for-women-copy-300x161.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 727px) 100vw, 727px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As people in this day and age, we tend to forget that there is so much more to life than what we live everyday.\u00a0 However, as women this seems to occur even\u00a0more.\u00a0 We are mothers, wives, nurturers, caregivers, disciplinarians, supporters, and managers.\u00a0 This is not just in our personal lives but our work lives as well.\u00a0 Women do\u00a0not take the necessary time we need to be ourselves, to regroup, to refill.\u00a0 There are often times that we give so much of ourselves that not only are we mentally, physically, emotionally drained, we are spiritually drained as well.\u00a0 In many cases it could be days, weeks, or in the most extreme cases, months before we feel appreciated and loved.<\/p>\n<p>Who fills our cup when empty? Who do we lean on for strength and support?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isaiah+41%3A10&amp;version=ESV\">Isaiah 41:10<\/a>\u00a0ESV\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Psalm+94%3A17-19&amp;version=ESV\">Psalm 94:17-19<\/a> ESV\u00a0\u00a0 If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence. When I thought, \u201cMy foot slips,\u201d your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/Deuteronomy-31-6\/\">Deuteronomy 31:6<\/a> ESV &#8211; Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/1-Peter-5-7\/\">1 Peter 5:7<\/a> ESV &#8211; Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/discipleship\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/11\/jana.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-944\" src=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/discipleship\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/11\/jana.jpg\" alt=\"jana\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Since 1997, Jana has served the IPHC Global Ministries Center in various administrative roles in before she joined the Discipleship team in June 2014.
