Church Next Level

It has been said for years that 85% of the evangelical churches in America are plateaued or declining. Ed Stetzer of Lifeway Research recently announced that only 16% of Americans attend a church event once a week. America is in need of revival! Churches need to move to a Next Level of ministry.

The American IPHC church statistics are a little better than average. Yet there is much work to be done. At the end of 2013, over half of the American IPHC churches were plateaued or declining-that is, they were growing at less than 1% per year.

EVUSA is offering revitalization opportunities complete with resources. These fall under five categories or are the points of a five star approach.

  • A Missional Church Approach
  • Model Church Network
  • Breaking Barrier Training
  • Church CPR Training and Dr. Owen Weston’s “24 to Double”
  • Other possibilities.

o   Evangelism Essentials

o   Friendship Evangelism

o   Church Transformation

o   Master Plan of Evangelism

EVUSA is committed to assisting all IPHC churches as they move to the Next Level of effective ministry.

There is a price to be paid. “Churches do not change until the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.” Ed Stetzer

More is involved than the size of the building or congregation. There must be a biblical mindset. There must be a Biblical heart for all people. Our late Bishop Carpenter put it this way in discussing a missional church – “it is the church whose congregation is characterized by the size of the heart rather than the size of the building.” “The church is the church only when it exists for others; it must share in the secular problems of ordinary life, not by dominating but by helping and serving.” Dietrich Bonhoeffer
