 <\/p>\n

Psalm 34:3<\/strong><\/a> O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.<\/p>\n

Interpretation:<\/strong> To magnify something is to make it larger and greater, cause it to be held in higher esteem. It\u2019s to set something on a pedestal so that it can be seen above all.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When we draw closer to God, we not only magnify Him, by expressing \u201cisn\u2019t he incredible and magnificent but we purposefully and consciously hold Him there in His glorious light \u201c to show Him off\u201d to others through every aspect of our lives. We promote and speak proudly of Him. Our lives send the invitation to \u201ccome, see, experience and join us in celebrating Him!\u201d<\/p>\n

Luke 1:45-47<\/strong><\/a> And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,<\/p>\n

Psalm 69:30<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.<\/p>\n

Psalm 44:8<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 In God we boast all day long, and praise your name forever.<\/p>\n

Prayer points<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To keep focused on what God is doing, lifting Him up with adoration even in times of trouble as the psalmist did<\/li>\n
  2. To rightly magnify the Lord insuring we are \u201cshowing Him off\u201d when sharing the Gospel<\/li>\n
  3. To magnify the Lord by \u201cshowing Him off\u201d as we live out our daily life.<\/li>\n
  4. To be aware of His Highest position when we meditate upon His character to better \u201cshow Him off\u201d to others<\/li>\n
  5. To consciously allow our spirit man to worship Him with exaltation, acknowledging His greatness and many faceted attributes\u00a0\u00a0 Psalm 19:14<\/li>\n
  6. To ask His help in not magnifying our so-termed accomplishments or that of any other above His.<\/li>\n
  7. To ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in adoration of Him as we enter His gates in thanksgiving and praise<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    An exercise may be to discover and purposely learn words throughout scripture as well as others relevant to our culture that settle in our hearts and help us be better magnifiers of God.<\/p>\n
