Scripture<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Then they said to one another, \u201cWe are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us.\u00a0\u00a0 Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king\u2019s household.\u201d II Kings 7:9<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 How can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, \u2018How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!\u2019\u201d Romans 10:15<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Interpretation<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Both the Latin word and Greek word for \u201cgospel\u201d means \u201cgood news.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The \u201cgospel\u201d was and is God\u2019s gracious action in creating the world and recreating the lives of men and women, and restoring them to a loving relationship with Himself. It is God\u2019s saving activity within human history. It is the \u201cgood news\u201d that sin has been forgiven and that God thru His Son has freed men from their true selves. It is the power of God to renew lives in the strength of His Spirit and to weld people together in a true community.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is \u201cgood news.\u201d It must be proclaimed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prayer Points \u2013 That the \u201cGood News\u201d will be Proclaimed and fruits to follow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Health \u2013 \u201c\u2026good news gives health to the bones\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proverbs 15:30<\/strong><\/p>\n
