Dear IPHC Hispanic Family in the USA,<\/span><\/p>\n

As the Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 1:3, “I thank my God for every remembrance of you.” Whether in the USA, or Central and South America, our Hispanic brethren are a great blessing to the IPHC global family! Your love for Jesus and deep sense of community is an inspiration.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am writing to express to you the love that the IPHC has for you as our brothers and sisters in Christ. You are a vital part of what the Holy Spirit has called us to be as witnesses to the love, truth, and peace of Jesus Christ. <\/span><\/p>\n

As you know, the Holy Spirit has called IPHC to be A Place of Hope and A People of Promise (Isaiah 54:2, 3). Now, more than ever, God’s Spirit is calling us to put this vision\u00a0into practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

The recent Presidential election has been met with many responses. Some are very happy; others are very sad. Still others are experiencing fear and uncertainty. The policies of\u00a0both presidential candidates had elements that were concerning and fearful to\u00a0many people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, in light of comments made during the campaign by President-elect Trump, immigrant communities in the USA are especially concerned about the future <\/span><\/p>\n

In light of these concerns,\u00a0I wanted to encourage you with our love for you. Many of us have publicly spoken and written that we believe immigration, the movements\u00a0of people,\u00a0is orchestrated by God to advance His Kingdom. We believe that the presence of Holy Spirit anointed Hispanic believers in the USA is part of God’s plan to bring revival and righteousness to this nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

We join you in: 1) praying for wisdom, righteousness\u00a0and justice\u00a0for our elected officials as they\u00a0make decisions on matters of immigration; 2) praying that we will not have a spirit of fear but rather “of power and of love and of a sound mind” as we respond (2 Timothy 1:7); 3) praying that the Holy Spirit will use us as “ministers of reconciliation” in our sinful world (2 Corinthians 5:18, 19). <\/span><\/p>\n

These words of Jesus from John’s Gospel give me hope.\u00a0In John 6:19, 20, the disciples were afraid in a storm-tossed boat when Jesus walked on the stormy waters and said, “It is I; do not be afraid.”\u00a0In John 20:19, the disciples had locked themselves in a room because of fear and Jesus entered into their presence and announced, “Peace be with you!” <\/span><\/p>\n

The leadership of the IPHC is praying for you and all in the USA as we love one another in Christ and witness of His\u00a0grace and truth. I am,<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahora, m\u00e1s que nunca, el Esp\u00edritu de Dios nos llama a poner en pr\u00e1ctica esta visi\u00f3n.<\/span> La reciente elecci\u00f3n presidencial se ha encontrado con muchas respuestas. Algunos son muy felices; otros son muy triste. Y otros est\u00e1n experimentando el miedo y la incertidumbre. Las pol\u00edticas de ambos candidatos presidenciales ten\u00edan elementos que fueron referentes a temibles y para muchas personas.<\/span> Ahora, a la luz de las observaciones hechas durante la campa\u00f1a por el presidente electo Trump, las comunidades de inmigrantes en los EE.UU. est\u00e1n especialmente preocupados por el futuro<\/span> A la luz de estas preocupaciones, quer\u00eda animarle con nuestro amor por ti. Muchos de nosotros hemos hablado y escrito que creemos que la inmigraci\u00f3n p\u00fablicamente, los movimientos de las personas, es orquestado por Dios para hacer avanzar su Reino. Creemos que la presencia del Esp\u00edritu Santo ungi\u00f3 creyentes hispanos en los EE.UU. es parte del plan de Dios para traer el avivamiento y la justicia de esta naci\u00f3n.<\/span> Nos unimos a ustedes en: 1) orar por sabidur\u00eda, rectitud y justicia para nuestros funcionarios elegidos medida que toman decisiones sobre asuntos de inmigraci\u00f3n; 2) la oraci\u00f3n que no vamos a tener un esp\u00edritu de temor, sino m\u00e1s bien "de poder, de amor y de dominio propio" al responder (2 Timoteo 1: 7); 3) orar para que el Esp\u00edritu Santo nos usar\u00e1 como "ministros de la reconciliaci\u00f3n" en nuestro mundo de pecado (2 Corintios 5:18, 19).<\/span> Estas palabras de Jes\u00fas en el Evangelio de Juan me dan esperanza. En Juan 06:19, 20, los disc\u00edpulos ten\u00edan miedo en un barco agitado por la tormenta cuando Jes\u00fas camin\u00f3 sobre las aguas de tormenta y dijo: "Soy yo, no tengan miedo." En Juan 20:19, los disc\u00edpulos se hab\u00edan encerrado en una habitaci\u00f3n a causa del miedo y Jes\u00fas entr\u00f3 en su presencia y anunci\u00f3: "La paz sea contigo!"<\/span> La direcci\u00f3n de la IISP est\u00e1 orando por usted y todos en los EE.UU. como nos amamos unos a otros en Cristo y el testimonio de su gracia y de verdad.
