After a time of praise and worship, I was introduced as the presiding officer. It was my privilege to share a message on the core value, “We Prayerfully Value Holiness.” Bishop Reynolds shared a heartfelt “State of the Conference” report. He reminded those in attendance that E4N was in its 15th year and highlighted some of the unique challenges and opportunities that they faced. He also shared Scripture from John 15:5-8 and spoke of the great need of bearing fruit. Bishop Brad expressed his great appreciation to the men who serve with him on the Executive Council. Each member shared their report concerning their areas of responsibilities. It was exciting to hear that four churches have joined as full members in the Conference.

The Examining Committee shared its report concerning ministers to be credentialed. It was an encouraging time to be a part of recognizing and having prayer with 10 predominantly young people who were presented their Local Church Ministers License. Four ministers received their Ministers License along with five receiving ordination.

It is always an honor to lead in the ordination service. This is a sacred time and a time of thanksgiving as we pray and lay our hands on these individuals in recognition of the Lord’s hand upon them and the affirmation of the conference of their calling.

Pray for Bishop Reynolds as he leads the E4N and also pastors a local church. This conference covers such a large geographical area and is a challenge, but also filled with great potential.

I was blessed the following day to be invited to preach in Belpre, Ohio, with Rev. Rob Clegg and his wonderful congregation. This is the church that was led for many years by Rev. Tony Atkinson. I enjoyed my time of fellowship with his family as well.

By Bishop Tommy McGhee

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

1
180,97,87,394,184
0":"post-1043","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-general","8":"tag-180","9":"tag-conference-recap","10":"tag-conference-report","11":"tag-ephesians-4-network","12":"tag-october","13":"entry
Great Plains 2016 Informe de la Conferencia
Ha sido un placer para presidir la Gran Conferencia Anual 2016 Llanuras y asistir a sus otros eventos de conexión 9-10 de septiembre de 2016.
