Talmadge Gardner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I had the distinct honor of serving as the presiding officer for the <strong>Pacific Western Network Ministries Annual Conference [PacWest] <\/strong><strong>Session<\/strong> <u>on May 20<\/u>, 2017.\u00a0 What a special privilege to serve Bishop Stan and Kathy Reynolds and be with our family members in PacWest.\u00a0 <strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Conference was hosted at the beautiful Fremont Marriott hotel in Fremont, California.\u00a0 Fremont is home to the Tesla automobile manufacturing plant in addition to other Fortune 500 companies. A little over 200 delegates and special guests attended the two-day event.<\/p>\n<p>Preceding the Saturday Conference Session, the Conference hosted a day of training <u>on Friday<\/u>, May 19.\u00a0 Dr. Hans Finzel author of the award-winning and bestselling book, <em>The Top Ten Mistakes Leaders Make<\/em>, taught three sessions.\u00a0 Hans\u2019s focus was \u201cAll Things Leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the Friday evening service, the Conference was challenged by the inspiring testimonies of Maryham Rostampour and Marziyeh Amirizadeh.\u00a0 Held captive in Iran, Maryam and Marziyeh recounted how God used their 259 days in Evin Prison to bring about a miraculous reversal by \u201cshining light into one of the world\u2019s darkest places, giving hope to those who had lost everything, and showing love to those in despair.\u201d\u00a0 If you have never heard their testimony or read their book I encourage you to visit their website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.captiveiniran.com\">www.captiveiniran.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clergy Credentials Were Issued as Follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Ordination [1]<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rev. Jonathan Jackson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It was an honor as the presiding officer to recognize the following Conference attendees:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conference Superintendent and his wife, Bishop Stan and Kathy Reynolds. Bishop Reynolds currently serves as a member of the IPHC Council of Bishops, vice chairman of the Advantage College Board of Regents, and General WMMD Council member<\/li>\n<li>Roger and Lennie Halvorson, former conference superintendent &amp; Council of Bishops member<\/li>\n<li>Bill Terry, former conference superintendent, former General Board of Administration member, acting president &amp; chairman of Advantage College &amp; the Advantage College Board of Regents, and director of Men\u2019s Ministries, DMD\/IPHC<\/li>\n<li>Susan Bagley, General EVUSA Division Council member &amp; member of the 28<sup>th<\/sup> General Conference Bylaws Committee<\/li>\n<li>Anthony Holmes, General DMD Council member<\/li>\n<li>Edgar Banaga, influential in helping the IPHC birth and develop our ministry to Filipinos in the U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Marty Delmon, IPHC Career Missionary to France<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Reynolds\u2019 <em>State of the Conference<\/em> <em>Report<\/em> was exhaustive and articulated his vision for PacWest with passion.<\/p>\n<p>I admire and commend Bishop Reynolds\u2019 emphasis and commitment to planting churches.\u00a0 PacWest has also developed a culture of <em>honor<\/em>.\u00a0 Bishop Reynolds modeled this as he honored seven church planters, the Conference Executive Council, and conference ministry directors\/leaders publicly.<\/p>\n<p>Several videos were used to highlight different conference ministries.\u00a0 Susan Bagley produced one in support of Mission: M25 Ministries that was hilarious and allowed us all to see a totally different side to \u201csaintly\u201d Susan. \u00a0General M25 Director Gary Burd would be smart to use Susan\u2019s creation for his denominational promotion of Mission: M25.<\/p>\n<p>This was my second presiding assignment this year in which I have witnessed something in both Conference Sessions [Pacwest and Northwest Latin] that I have never witnessed before; and that is that the Conference took the time to honor Bishop Reynolds and his wife Kathy with a special time of recognition and presentation.<\/p>\n<p>May every benefit and gift that comes from God, be graced on Bishop Stan and Kathy Reynolds.\u00a0 The Reynolds are choice servants and the Pacific Western Network Ministries Conference has tremendous growth potential for the kingdom\u2019s sake!<\/p>\n<p>It is always a privilege to serve this part of our family.\u00a0 They are welcoming, loving, and affirming.\u00a0 I have never left PacWest without feeling refreshed in my spirit!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"excerpt","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":855,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_genesis_hide_title":false,"_genesis_hide_breadcrumbs":false,"_genesis_hide_singular_image":false,"_genesis_hide_footer_widgets":false,"_genesis_custom_body_class":"","_genesis_custom_post_class":"","_genesis_layout":"","episode_type":"","audio_file":"","cover_image":"","cover_image_id":"","duration":"","filesize":"","date_recorded":"","explicit":"","block":"","filesize_raw":"","jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_dont_email_post_to_subs":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[313,330,87,85,463,94],"class_list":{"0":"post-1338","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-general","8":"tag-313","9":"tag-annual-conference","10":"tag-conference-report","11":"tag-june","12":"tag-pacific-western-network-ministries","13":"tag-recap","14":"entry"},"title_es":"Informe Anual de la Conferencia Anual de Carolina del Sur 2017","content_es":"<strong>Por Dr. AD Beacham, Jr., Presidente<\/strong> Durante m\u00e1s de cien a\u00f1os los ministros y congregaciones de la Iglesia Internacional de Santidad Pentecostal (IPHC) se han reunido en el estado de Carolina del Sur para hacer el negocio de la IPHC. Originario de Panam\u00e1, el Rev. Herrera ha llevado a varios ministros y congregaciones hispanas a la conferencia. En 2016 el diezmo de la iglesia local fue de $ 382,344.96. El aumento reflej\u00f3 que 28 congregaciones locales hab\u00edan aumentado su diezmo de 2015 a 2016. El diezmo de los ministros en 2015 fue $ 392,312.04 y en 2016 fue $ 382,146.98 para una ligera disminuci\u00f3n. La Oferta Global de Alcance para los Ministerios Mundiales de Misiones en 2016 fue de $ 46,368.67, un aumento de $ 4,925.24 a partir de 2015.
