QUADRENNIAL CONFERENCE <\/strong><\/p>\n

AUGUST 9, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Conference was hosted at the Iglesia Sol de Justicia Church in Reseda, California. In conjunction with its Conference Session, events were hosted for women, men, children and teens. Needless to say, the Church was a hub of activity.<\/p>\n

The Conference elected the following persons to serve as members of their Executive Council:
\n<\/strong>Bishop Adam Villarreal, Conference Superintendent
\nRev. Raul Reyes, Assistant Conference Superintendent
\nRev. Freyman Valdez, Secretary\/Treasurer
\nRev. Jorge Salazar, Member at Large
\nRev. P. Jarquin, Member at Large<\/p>\n

As a conclusion to the Quadrennial Conference, the Conference celebrated an Installation Service for the members of the newly elected Conference Executive Council in addition to celebrating the Ordinance of Holy Communion together as a final benediction.<\/p>\n

\nMr. David Parker, President, IPHC Extension Loan Fund
\nRev. David Lopez, Assistant Superintendent and Director of Hispanic Ministries, Golden West Conference<\/p>\n

Freyman and Angela Valdez served the West Coast Hispanic Conference and IPHC faithfully for the past twelve years. Both Freyman and Angela have had several health challenges during this season of ministry. They have five beautiful children. Freyman handled the transference of his leadership mantle as Superintendent of West Coast Hispanic Conference with Christian dignity.<\/p>\n

I join with the entire Council of Bishops in welcoming Bishop Adam Villarreal as a COB Member. Adam served the West Coast Hispanic Conference as Superintendent prior to Freyman\u2019s tenure so he is well versed with the responsibilities associated with serving in this capacity.<\/p>\n

Junto con su Sesi\u00f3n de la Conferencia, se organizaron eventos para mujeres, hombres, ni\u00f1os y adolescentes. No hace falta decir que la Iglesia era un centro de actividad. La Conferencia eligi\u00f3 a las siguientes personas para servir como miembros de su Consejo Ejecutivo:<\/strong> Obispo Adam Villarreal, Superintendente de la Conferencia, Rev. Ra\u00fal Reyes, Asistente del Superintendente de la Conferencia, Rev. Freyman Valdez, Secretario \/ Tesorero, Rev. Jorge Salazar, Miembro de la Gran Rev. P. Jarquin , Miembro en general Como conclusi\u00f3n de la Conferencia cuatrienal, la Conferencia celebr\u00f3 un Servicio de Instalaci\u00f3n para los miembros del recientemente elegido Consejo Ejecutivo de la Conferencia, adem\u00e1s de celebrar la Ordenanza de la Sagrada Comuni\u00f3n juntos como una bendici\u00f3n final. David Lopez, Superintendente Asistente y Director de Ministerios Hispanos, Golden West Conference Freyman y Angela Valdez sirvi\u00f3 fielmente a la Conferencia Hispana de la Costa Oeste y al IPHC durante los \u00faltimos doce a\u00f1os. Tanto Freyman como Angela han tenido varios problemas de salud durante esta temporada de ministerio. Tienen cinco hijos hermosos. Freyman manej\u00f3 la transferencia de su liderazgo como superintendente de la Conferencia Hispana de la Costa Oeste con dignidad cristiana. Me sumo a todo el Consejo de Obispos para dar la bienvenida al obispo Adam Villarreal como miembro de la COB.
