QUADRENNIAL SESSION <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

It was my pleasure to serve as presiding officer for the Tennessee Valley Quadrennial Conference on July 18<\/span>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 The Conference Session was held at the Christian Heritage Church in Memphis, Tennessee.\u00a0 The conference opened at 9 am with a voting delegation of 73 along with a good number of guests.\u00a0There was a sense of unity throughout the day.\u00a0 The response to the presentation, \u201cWe Prayerfully Value Scripture\u201d was positive and receptive.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
The highlight of the conference was the report of Bishop Manual Pate.\u00a0 He shared his heart for the pastors and people of the conference, which is made up of 22 churches and 1 affiliate, 3,177 members, 38 Ordained, 9 Licensed, and 15 Local Certified Ministers.\u00a0 His report was received with genuine appreciation of his leadership and affirmation for his vision for the future.\u00a0 There was very little debate as the various reports were presented.\u00a0 At the appropriate time for elections, Bishop Pate was reelected to serve as Conference Superintendent by acclamation as was Assistant Superintendent Josh Hannah.\u00a0 The remaining members of the board elected to serve were Mark Luther, Jamie Grisham, and Dale Wilson.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Please remember this conference in your prayers as they seek to plant churches, relocate some existing churches, and work to have a number of churches move forward by becoming \u201cNext Level Churches.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
