For the last several years various churches and ministries including Falcon Children’s Home, Royal Home Ministries, Mission M:25, and the Mid-Atlantic Conference led by Bishop Abel Palomo have represented the IPHC at the March for Life in Washington, D. C. The annual march marks the anniversary of the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade that legalized abortion. Since then, over 60 million lives have been aborted in the United States.

This year, the IPHC delegation gathered for a special service at Kingsway Christian Center on Thursday night before the march. The lyrics, “Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal,” echoed throughout the congregation as we recognized that no matter how deep the sorrow, God can provide healing. Falcon Children’s Home CEO Joey Leggett stated, “I have seen sorrow come through our doors, but I have also seen God’s power heal.”

A ministry of the IPHC, Royal Home Ministries is committed to providing an alternative for young ladies who face an unplanned pregnancy. Director Marysol Martinez states, “Not only will we say abortion is wrong, but we will provide an alternative!” Since its beginning, Royal Home Ministries has served as a place of hope, providing a home and loving support for over 400 babies and their mothers.

Bishop Garry Bryant

The theme for this year’s March for Life was “Love Saves Lives.” It is love that compels us to speak up for the unborn and those who have been affected by abortion.
