GOLDEN WEST
\n<\/strong>QUADRENNIAL CONFERENCE
\n<\/strong>OCTOBER 4, 2014

It was my privilege to serve as the presiding officer for the Golden West Quadrennial Conference.\u00a0The Conference was hosted at the Civic Center, in Torrance, California. The Conference had sixty-three registered delegates and at least an additional sixty plus visitors in attendance.<\/p>\n

The transformation that has taken place in Golden West over the course of the past three years is remarkable. Bishop Murray has done an outstanding job resurrecting, transitioning and positioning the Golden West Conference to be A Place of Hope for People of Promise.<\/p>\n

The Conference in Session elected the following persons to serve as members of their Executive Council:

\nBill Kenedy, Secretary\/Treasurer
\nAnthony Archuleta, Executive Council Member
\nDavid Lopez, Executive Council Member
\nHislena Servin, Executive Council Member
\nBilly Wood, Executive Council Member<\/p>\n

Former General Superintendent, Bishop Ronald W. Carpenter, Sr., Reverends; Imogene Flowers, Billy Elmore, Evelyn Snyder, J.B. Layer, Elmer Rouse, Norman Bray, William Farrier, Johnny Tatum, Dick Goad, Patricia Lackey, and William Marlow were lovingly memorialized along with prominent lay-members of the Golden West Conference Family.<\/p>\n

Bishop Murray also presented the Wind & Fire Award<\/em> to former General Superintendent, Bishop Ronald W. Carpenter, Sr. posthumously. Mrs. Nan Carpenter who was accompanied by her daughter-in-law, Hope Carpenter, graciously accepted the award on his behalf.<\/p>\n

I am praying that this quadrennium will be the most productive yield of fruitfulness in your ministry. We are so very proud of you!<\/p>\n
