The special day was hosted by the Lifeline Fellowship Church, pastored by former Superintendent Rev. Ricky Walter. Bishop David Salazar had prepared a well-organized agenda for the session and the evening service.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/IMG_0294.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2666\" src=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/IMG_0294.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/IMG_0294.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/IMG_0294-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/IMG_0294-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/IMG_0294-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/IMG_0294-200x150.jpg 200w, https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2018\/07\/IMG_0294-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a>After passing the Decorum Committee Report, Bishop David Salazar presented his personal report and the State of the Conference Report. In his report, he demonstrated his wisdom by expressing his appreciation to his wife of 40 years, Rosa Salazar. He stated, \u201cI have paid my tithe into the conference in full; I have served this conference as pastor, district evangelism director, board member, secretary, assistant superintendent, and superintendent, all with the Lord\u2019s help which I\u2019m happy and privileged to serve.\u201d In his State of the Conference, Bishop Salazar reported, \u201cFour years ago, we started with 15 churches and 45 minsters.<\/p>\n<p>Today I\u2019m happy to report we have 18 churches and 58 ministers.\u201d Their goal as a part of Arise 2033 is to plant three churches per year for the next 15 years. He shared that three churches have been added so far in 2018. The members of the Executive Council who were present shared their reports to the conference. The Remembrance Committee paid tribute to several members who have passed away with special emphasis was given to Rev. Robert Hough (1931-2017). Rev Hough served as a career missionary in the IPHC. He also served as superintendent of the Texas Conference (Grace Bible Ministries) from 1975-1986.<\/p>\n<p>The Credentialing Committee recommended five candidates to receive their Local Minister\u2019s License, one for Licensed Minister, and two for ordination.\u00a0\u00a0The recommendation was adopted. The results of the elections were as follows:\u00a0\u00a0Conference Superintendent &#8211; Bishop David Salazar, Assistant Superintendent \u2013 Rev. Mark Perry, Council Members \u2013 Rev. Steve Miller and Rev. Alonzo Hurt. All were elected by acclamation.\u00a0\u00a0The newly-elected Executive Council stood before the conference delegates and visitors as I led in an official installation with special prayer for these leaders.<\/p>\n<p>The evening service followed the business session. I was blessed to share the message and to also lead in the ordination of two ministers&#8211; Rev. Joe Martin and Rev. Linda Ham.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Salazar is a joy to be around; he provides warm Christian fellowship. Sesi\u00f3n anual y su 13\u00aa Sesi\u00f3n cuadrienal el s\u00e1bado 30 de junio de 2018, en Anniston, Alabama. El pastor Jonathan Pate y la iglesia del Centro de Culto a la Vida sirvieron como anfitriones del d\u00eda. La sesi\u00f3n de negocios fue destacada por el Informe del Estado de la Conferencia del Obispo Mike Gray. Jason Beiler<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Miembros del Consejo: Jonathan Pate, Al Bethea y Jon Potter<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nDespu\u00e9s de un tiempo de reconocimiento, premios y promociones, el Informe de Memorias de la Conferencia fue le\u00eddo y concluido con un momento de silencio y oraci\u00f3n. Fue un honor para m\u00ed participar en la imposici\u00f3n de manos para la ordenaci\u00f3n oficial del Reverendo Tim Nichols. Este es siempre un momento santo y precioso en la Sesi\u00f3n de la Conferencia.
