The second Wednesday of January, January 14<sup>th<\/sup>, 2015, has been set aside to honor God with worship, prayer, supplication and expectant hearts. At the Global Ministry Center we suspend our work routine to gather together for prayer over every aspect of the ministries of the IPHC. Bishop Doug Beacham has asked that each conference and church observe a day of prayer, whether on January 14<sup>th<\/sup> or another day, to seek the guidance of the Lord for the coming year of ministry.<\/p>\n<p>For 2015, Bishop Beacham has asked that we emphasize the Core Value of <strong>Pentecost. <\/strong>Russell Board, writing on the Core Value of Pentecost in the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/iphc.org\/corevalues\/\">7 Core Values of the IPHC<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>notes that \u201cPentecost is not only about worship and witness. The Holy Spirit is given to lead us in our daily lives, and to cultivate the character of Christ within us.\u201d As you plan your day of prayer emphasize the work of the Holy Spirit in our ministries and lives as we honor the significance of Pentecost to the IPHC.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/wuhdxa8epjvezlg\/Suggested%20Agenda%202015%20IPHC%20Global%20Day%20of%20Fasting%20and%20Prayer%202015.pdf?dl=0\">CLICK HERE<\/a> for a\u00a0suggested format suitable for use by a congregation or individual. Whether you participate in congregational corporate prayer or personal prayer, this outline may be adapted to your needs.<\/p>\n<p>We anticipate a triumphant day of worship and prayer throughout the IPHC!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ephesians 5:18-20 <\/strong>\u201c\u2026 be filled with the Spirit, <sup>19\u00a0<\/sup>speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit.
