He has\u00a0shown you, O man, what\u00a0is\u00a0good;<\/em>
\nAnd what does the\u00a0Lord\u00a0require of you
\nBut\u00a0to do justly, to love mercy,
\nAnd to walk humbly with your God? \u2013 Micah 6:8<\/em><\/p>\n

The International Pentecostal Holiness Church will focus on its 6th<\/sup> core value, We Prayerfully Value Justice<\/em>, in 2019. General Superintendent Doug Beacham feels this is a timely emphasis for the church, \u201cIn a time of national and international crisis, I believe the Holy Spirit has led the IPHC to hear what the Word of God says about justice. I am praying that this year will be transformative in our understanding of the Word and how we live as ambassadors of reconciliation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Using Micah 6:8 as the theme verse, the church will implement a quarterly emphasis to explore the truths of God\u2019s Word regarding justice:<\/p>\n

  1. A Voice in the Darkness \u2013 Is God Just?<\/li>\n
  2. A Voice in the Wilderness \u2013 Justice in the Old Testament<\/li>\n
  3. A Voice to the Church \u2013 Justice in the New Testament<\/li>\n
  4. A Voice for Today \u2013 Our Responsibility<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    As a part of this focus, various resources including videos, web articles, devotions, podcasts,\u00a0and books will be available on the website<\/a> throughout the year.
