Emmanuel College, in Franklin Springs, Georgia, celebrates 100 years of the Lord\u2019s faithfulness this year. Founded in 1919, as the Franklin Springs Institute, the college now offers accredited bachelors\u00a0and associates degrees.<\/p>\n
From its humble\u00a0beginnings<\/a>, church leaders such as Bishop J.H. King and G.F. Taylor envisioned a place where people could come for spiritual renewal, biblical training, and a deeper understanding of God\u2019s Word. By 1923, the campus comprised a publishing house and post office and had become a central hub for the Pentecostal Holiness Church.<\/p>\n Today, Emmanuel continues its mission to provide a Christ-centered liberal arts education. President Ron White affirms that commitment, \u201cFor 100 years, the College has been transforming lives and making a difference in this world through education. Now more than ever, Emmanuel is positioned to accelerate its influence and enhance its mission.\u201d<\/p>\n Brian James, vice president of Advancement, invites alumni and friends to join Emmanuel in this celebration, \u201cI hope you will join us in the Springs this year as we celebrate all God has done over these short 100 years.
