I was blessed to serve as the presiding officer for the Mississippi Conference for their Annual Conference session. It was a privilege to bring the message Friday evening to a responsive congregation.\u00a0 I enjoyed working with Bishop David Moore, his wife Jane, and their leadership team.\u00a0Pastor Darrell Blankenship and the Springs of Praise Church served as our host for the day.\u00a0 There was a strong representation of young people who attended and participated as well as served the delegates during our lunch.<\/p>\n
The highlight of the day was the report of Bishop Moore. He shared a report on a recent mission trip to Guatemala.\u00a0 He also reported on the Conference\u2019s participation in \u201cArise 2033\u201d and their continued plans for training and equipping pastors and local church leaders for a thrust into the \u201cHarvest.\u201d He gave a detailed report on their commitment to \u201cUnite Mississippi.\u201d\u00a0 A special \u201cUnity and Prayer\u201d service will be held April 26 at Veterans Memorial Stadium followed by a large outreach event the following day. Bishop Moore always shares his heart of passion for reaching the lost and planting new churches.<\/p>\n
