{"id":4109,"date":"2019-07-22T12:47:22","date_gmt":"2019-07-22T17:47:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/?p=4109"},"modified":"2019-07-18T12:49:12","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T17:49:12","slug":"ephesians-4-network-annual-conference-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/2019\/07\/22\/ephesians-4-network-annual-conference-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Ephesians 4 Network Annual Conference Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was honored to serve Bishop Brad &amp; Susan Reynolds and the members of the Ephesians 4 Network (E4N) as their presiding officer, on Saturday, July 13, 2019.\u00a0The Ephesians 4 Network (E4N) was birthed in January 2002 to reach an eight-state region (Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Wisconsin) in the north-central part of the United States.\u00a0 This was E4N\u2019s 18th annual conference gathering.<\/p>\n<p>The conference convened at 9 a.m. on the campgrounds of the International Pentecostal Church of Christ (IPCC), in London, Ohio\u2014about a 45-minute drive from Columbus, Ohio, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes.\u00a0Bishop Reynolds established a relationship with their former General Overseer, Bishop Clyde Hughes, several years ago that has resulted in a fruitful ministry partnership.\u00a0Bishop Hughes has attended several IPHC General Conferences through the years as a fraternal guest and was a strong supporter of Bishop Leggett when he served as chairman of the Pentecostal Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA) and Pentecostal World Conference (PWC). Bishop Hughes has added value and credibility to every leadership position he has served in.\u00a0 He epitomizes servant leadership.\u00a0The IPCC is currently led by General Overseer Shannon Truelove.<\/p>\n<p>Preceding the Conference Session, E4N celebrated its annual camp meeting from July 10-12. The camp meeting started on Wednesday evening.\u00a0Pastor Steve Hickerson preached.\u00a0On Thursday afternoon, Dr. Terry Tramel hosted a World Missions Ministries Global Outreach Rally and meal for E4N.\u00a0 It was a beneficial opportunity.\u00a0Dr. Tramel also preached the Thursday evening camp meeting service. \u00a0On Friday evening, Mark Sarver, senior pastor of Church on the Rock in Berea, Kentucky, preached the concluding camp meeting service. A special time of prayer was held around the altar following his message. E4N also used Thursday and Friday mornings to resource and train their pastors.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Reynolds began his report by honoring the members of E4N\u2019s Executive Council and his family.\u00a0 In conferences that cannot afford the services of an administrative team, the Executive Council and family members play a vital role in serving and carrying the vision.<\/p>\n<p>Excerpts from Bishop Reynold\u2019s State of the Conference Report are:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cOur theme this year has been <strong>Revive<\/strong>, and this year, we have seen E4N being revived in many areas.\u00a0First, we have seen churches go through much needed revitalization.\u00a0Secondly, E4N has grown this year by 20%!\u00a0 Today E4N stands at 41 churches and growing!<\/p>\n<p>I would like to welcome the following new churches into E4N:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>House of the Lord<\/li>\n<li>Greater Christ Temple<\/li>\n<li>Breath of Life Church<\/li>\n<li>Lifeguard Church<\/li>\n<li>Empowering Visions<\/li>\n<li>True Deliverance Ministries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>E4N is still dedicated to providing recourses to its churches and ministers.<\/p>\n<p>E4N is also dedicated to resourcing our churches; we are here to serve our churches, to come alongside each pastor and church and help them to accomplish their God-given vision.<\/p>\n<p>We are also expanding our leadership structure so that more people can get involved and be a part of what God is doing in E4N.\u00a0There are going to be more opportunities than ever before.\u00a0The conference this year was put together by a young team of 20-somethings who brainstormed and met via conference call, to make this conference happen.\u00a0More and more, our younger leadership is stepping up.<\/p>\n<p>E4N has operated as a transactional organization in recent years, but we will no longer be a transactional organization, but a transformational organization.\u00a0Transformational leaders focus on change and results.\u00a0As a transformational organization, we will strive to raise up and train transformational leaders.\u00a0Leaders who will be transformational to their communities and region for the cause of Christ!<\/p>\n<p>We are restarting our school of ministry and developing young leaders.\u00a0We are recruiting more than ever.<\/p>\n<p>E4N is also looking for a permanent home.\u00a0Pray with us.<\/p>\n<p>Your involvement is key.\u00a0Without your involvement, E4N will not be a success.\u00a0 Our motto is, \u201ctogether we can do more,\u201d and it takes all of us participating. Our mission is fivefold!<\/p>\n<p>We purpose:<br \/>\n1.\u00a0to plant new churches<br \/>\n2. to revitalize existing churches<br \/>\n3. to build strong ministers<br \/>\n4. to promote and establish the E4 Model<br \/>\n5. to aggressively pursue \u201clike-minded\u201d independents to join our E4N family<\/p>\n<p>It has been a great honor to serve in E4N over the past many years, and I look forward to the next few years ahead of us.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Clergy credentials were issued as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Ordination (8)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rev. E4N tambi\u00e9n se dedica a proveer recursos a nuestras iglesias; estamos aqu\u00ed para servir a nuestras iglesias, para acompa\u00f1ar a cada pastor e iglesia y ayudarlos a lograr su visi\u00f3n dada por Dios. Tambi\u00e9n estamos expandiendo nuestra estructura de liderazgo para que m\u00e1s personas puedan involucrarse y ser parte de lo que Dios est\u00e1 haciendo en E4N. Habr\u00e1 m\u00e1s oportunidades que nunca. La conferencia de este a\u00f1o fue organizada por un joven equipo de veintitantos a\u00f1os que realiz\u00f3 una lluvia de ideas y se reuni\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de una conferencia telef\u00f3nica para que esta conferencia se llevara a cabo. Cada vez m\u00e1s, nuestro liderazgo m\u00e1s joven est\u00e1 intensificando. E4N ha operado como una organizaci\u00f3n transaccional en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, pero ya no seremos una organizaci\u00f3n transaccional, sino una organizaci\u00f3n transformacional. Los l\u00edderes transformacionales se centran en el cambio y los resultados. Como organizaci\u00f3n transformadora, nos esforzaremos por reunir y capacitar a l\u00edderes transformacionales. \u00a1L\u00edderes que ser\u00e1n transformadores a sus comunidades y regi\u00f3n por la causa de Cristo! Estamos reiniciando nuestra escuela de ministerio y desarrollando l\u00edderes j\u00f3venes. Estamos reclutando m\u00e1s que nunca. E4N tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 buscando un hogar permanente. Reza con nosotros Su participaci\u00f3n es clave. Sin su participaci\u00f3n, E4N no ser\u00e1 un \u00e9xito.
