It was indeed a privilege to serve as the presiding officer for the Spirit Life Ministries Annual Conference. This year the conference celebrates 104 years of service to God and others: 1915-2019.<\/p>\n
The annual conference took place Saturday morning, August 3, at their ministry development center in Beech Springs, South Carolina. The conference family was in the midst of their 2019 camp meeting and was experiencing a wonderful time of powerful ministry, worship and work of Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n
Bishop Ray Boggs and his leadership team did an excellent job of preparing and leading the conference session. There were approximately 200 in attendance, which included 79 credentialed ministers. The day was marked by the obvious and tangible presence of the Holy Spirit. Bishop Boggs provided an exceptional State of the Conference Report which was defined by the following seven declarations:<\/p>\n
\u2022 We come into agreement with Bishop Beacham and the Arise 2033 vision. It is our desire to plant churches within every county of the territory that the Lord has given us. We also desire to plant a Hispanic church in every county as well. We agree for a minimum of 20 new church plants within the next four years.<\/p>\n
\u2022 We come into agreement to provide our pastors with cutting edge training and support to take their churches to unprecedented growth.<\/p>\n
\u2022 We come into agreement that our commitment to the millennials and subsequent generations will not waver. We will identify, train, encourage, and send these young men and women to walk in their callings from God.<\/p>\n
\u2022 We come into agreement that our World Missions offering will double over the next four years. We agree that the spirit and bondage of poverty will be broken off every minister and church.<\/p>\n
\u2022 We come into agreement that the women of this conference will be fully released to take their rightful place in the kingdom and walk in a supernatural anointing to minster in total freedom of the Spirit.<\/p>\n
\u2022 We come into agreement that any and everything that has stopped the blessings and resources of God from flowing into our churches will be cursed and done away with forever. With this, many prodigal sons and daughters will find their way home and be actively involved in the work of the kingdom of God.<\/p>\n
\u2022 We come into agreement that all our retired ministers and spouses of deceased ministers will finish their journey with sufficient grace and blessing from our Lord. We will intentionally care for, and minister to, each of them with extravagant love.<\/p>\n
A significant part of the day was the credentialing of ministers.<\/p>\n

It is obvious that Spirit Life Ministries is serving in an exemplary manner in the area of discovering, developing, and deploying men and women of God into their calling and purpose. The ordination service was highlighted by a significant time of prayer with the laying on of hands and spiritual gifts in operation. It was definitely a defining moment in the lives of those ordained.<\/p>\n
It was exciting to witness the unity and energy that this conference is experiencing \u2013 they are certainly living up to their name, Spirit Life!<\/p>\n
I was honored to be with Bishop Boggs and Mrs. Alison. They are leading in a most gracious but yet aggressive manner. The executive council and ministry leaders are serving well, and the fruit they are producing gives evidence of their efforts. I am confident that Spirit Life will continue to experience expansion, which is their theme for this year. I am the better for having this time with Spirit Life!<\/p>\n
On Sunday morning, it was my honor to be with Pastors Terry and Beth Bailey and the South Greenwood church family. We experienced tremendous worship and the bulk of our time together became a deep and intense season of intercessory prayer for our nation. God bless America, and God bless Spirit Life Ministries as they impact their region and beyond with the gospel and engage an increasing harvest.<\/p>\n
