{"id":4197,"date":"2019-09-16T07:47:24","date_gmt":"2019-09-16T12:47:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/?p=4197"},"modified":"2019-09-16T07:47:24","modified_gmt":"2019-09-16T12:47:24","slug":"mid-atlantic-annual-conference-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iphc.org\/gso\/2019\/09\/16\/mid-atlantic-annual-conference-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Mid-Atlantic Annual Conference Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Mid-Atlantic Annual Conference took place Saturday, September 7.\u00a0\u00a0The conference was hosted by Kingsway Christian Center and Pastors Shawn and Bridgette Simon.\u00a0\u00a0Bishop Abel Palomo, his wife Trish, and their entire family are faithful and fruitful in their leading and serving the Mid-Atlantic Conference.<\/p>\n<p>The day\u2019s schedule was filled with exciting and informative reports from a variety of the MAC Ministries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Women\u2019s Ministries \u2013 Eulita Carretta, director<\/li>\n<li>Discipleship Ministries \u2013 Pastor Ben Spearman<\/li>\n<li>Missions Ministries \u2013 Rev. Wesley Russ, former bishop<\/li>\n<li>Finances \u2013 Mrs. Katie Eckenrode<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There were several other presentations (some by video) provided that gave quality evidence of the wide-range of ministries and opportunities that the Mid-Atlantic Conference is involved with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holmes Bible College \u2013 Rev. Bruce Hagee, dean of students<\/li>\n<li>Retirement Plan \u2013 Mrs. Brenda Phillips, IPHC CFO<\/li>\n<li>Chaplains Ministry \u2013 LT Jamil Khan (video)<\/li>\n<li>Emmanuel College \u2013 video<\/li>\n<li>Falcon Children\u2019s Home\\Royal Home Ministries \u2013 video<\/li>\n<li>Special Missions Report \u2013 Van and Jane Bloss<\/li>\n<li>Memoirs Report \u2013 Pastor Donna Leatherman<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pastor David Schoch gave a stirring, faith-filled and faith-challenging report on his local church involvement in Missions.\u00a0\u00a0They have increased their participation in the planting of churches in the Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Abel Palomo is forward-thinking and visionary in his leadership responsibilities. He provided a challenging State of the Conference Report with a strong emphasis on leadership development. The three priorities that were established are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Local churches multiplying leaders<\/li>\n<li>Churches planting churches<\/li>\n<li>Increased faithfulness in giving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There was a strong level of energy and unity that allowed for this annual conference to be inspiring, affirming and requiring.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A highlight of the day was the credentialing of ministers:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ordained ministers:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emmanuel Robinson<\/li>\n<li>Boniface Odong<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Minister\u2019s License:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Esther Choi<\/li>\n<li>Byong Gun Min<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Local Church Minister\u2019s Certificate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carlos Corrales<\/li>\n<li>Carlos Hernandez<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>MAC Chaplain\u2019s License:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Joan Maskall<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Mid-Atlantic Conference is known for its diversity and multi-cultural flavor. Those receiving credentials this year continue to validate this wonderful expression of the conference family.<\/p>\n<p>A special note that deserves attention:\u00a0 Emmanuel Robinson who was ordained, was raised in the MAC and is now serving with Pastor Ryan Jackson at the Capital Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Rev. Han aumentado su participaci\u00f3n en la plantaci\u00f3n de iglesias en Ucrania. El obispo Abel Palomo es visionario y visionario en sus responsabilidades de liderazgo. Aquellos que reciben credenciales este a\u00f1o contin\u00faan validando esta maravillosa expresi\u00f3n de la familia de la conferencia. Una nota especial que merece atenci\u00f3n: Emmanuel Robinson, quien fue ordenado, fue criado en el MAC y ahora est\u00e1 sirviendo con el Pastor Ryan Jackson en la Iglesia Capital en Raleigh, Carolina del Norte. El reverendo Jackson asisti\u00f3 y tuvimos el honor de que participara en la ordenaci\u00f3n de Emmanuel. Este result\u00f3 ser un d\u00eda maravilloso para la Conferencia del Atl\u00e1ntico Medio con una variedad de testimonios que dan evidencia de lo mismo.
