At alarming rates, today\u2019s youth and young adults are being exposed to pornography often and at very young ages. Parents cannot realistically build the \u201cimpregnable bubble.\u201d The fact is that nearly 100% of our youth and young adults have been exposed to pornography. <\/span><\/p>\n

The challenge is that the messages that the culture provides of pornography are directly contrary to what parents, church leaders, and the Bible say about sex, intimacy, and marriage. The messages that are being heard are destructive both in the short and long-term. The messages of pornography are simply lies. They promise freedom, satisfaction, and fullness of life but deliver bondage and brokenness. <\/span><\/p>\n

Parents and church leaders must face the reality that \u201csex education is taking place all the time.\u201d The only question is the source! If we do not talk regularly about the truth of marriage, sex, and intimacy, pornography will win the day. So open honest dialogue is the key. There must be a balance of truth and grace. We must ask questions; not act like we have all the answers. <\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Religious Alliance Against Pornography<\/a>\u00a0(RAAP), which began in 1986, has been actively involved in uniting people of many faith groups against the issues of pornography. The International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) has been a member of this group for several years.<\/p>\n

In an effort to raise awareness and help the church address these issues, RAPP and the IPHC will offer another free webinar on November 14 dealing with the concerns of pornography. The Challenge\u00a0<\/i>will present practical steps that can be taken to help youth and young adults face the reality of our pornified culture and have victory. We will present a realistic approach to the problem with help for parents and church leaders in addition to the steps that the youth and young adults need to take to have victory.<\/p>\n

A tasas alarmantes, los j\u00f3venes y adultos j\u00f3venes de hoy est\u00e1n expuestos a la pornograf\u00eda a menudo y a edades muy tempranas. El hecho es que casi el 100% de nuestros j\u00f3venes y adultos j\u00f3venes han estado expuestos a la pornograf\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

El desaf\u00edo es que los mensajes que ofrece la cultura de la pornograf\u00eda son directamente contrarios a lo que los padres, los l\u00edderes de la iglesia y la Biblia dicen sobre el sexo, la intimidad y el matrimonio. Los mensajes que se escuchan son destructivos tanto a corto como a largo plazo. Los mensajes de la pornograf\u00eda son simplemente mentiras. Prometen libertad, satisfacci\u00f3n y plenitud de vida, pero brindan esclavitud y quebrantamiento.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Los padres y los l\u00edderes de la iglesia deben enfrentar la realidad de que \"la educaci\u00f3n sexual se lleva a cabo todo el tiempo\". \u00a1La \u00fanica pregunta es la fuente! Si no hablamos regularmente sobre la verdad del matrimonio, el sexo y la intimidad, la pornograf\u00eda ganar\u00e1 el d\u00eda. Entonces, el di\u00e1logo abierto y honesto es la clave. Debe haber un equilibrio de verdad y gracia. Debemos hacer preguntas; No actuar como si tuvi\u00e9ramos todas las respuestas.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

La Alianza Religiosa contra la Pornograf\u00eda<\/a> (RAAP), que comenz\u00f3 en 1986, ha participado activamente en la uni\u00f3n de personas de muchos grupos religiosos contra los problemas de la pornograf\u00eda.
