One might say that Peter was on a path of sanctification, a path that included the crisis of exposing his vulnerabilities, yet led to a truth- and grace-filled encounter. … Peter did not run away in John 21 at the seashore. Peter accepted the penetrating words of Jesus, coming to the only conclusion there is: Follow Me.”<\/p>\n
