We look forward to the 2022 IPHC General Conference in Jacksonville, Florida next July 27-29. In preparation for the work we will do at that time, the Council of Bishops has appointed the following Bylaws, Delegate Certification, and Decorum Committees. We are thankful for the leadership and service of these men and women as they volunteer their time to serve the IPHC. The committee chairs’ email addresses are included here and below for your convenience.<\/p>\n

Bylaws Committee<\/h2>\n

The Bylaws Committee is the largest standing committee, and it has responsibility for the heart of the IPHC Manual. The committee reviews the IPHC\u2019s governing bylaws, considering necessary amendments on its own, as well as reviewing proposed amendments submitted in writing. Decorum Committee<\/h2>\n

The Decorum Committee is responsible for the way business is conducted during General Conference. The committee will present its report in the conference\u2019s first session, establishing the basic rules and procedures that will govern reporting, resolutions, discussion and debate, nominations and elections, and voting. The Decorum Committee consists of a chair and four members-at-large. The committee\u2019s membership for 2022 is:<\/p>\n

    Delegate Certification Committee<\/h2>\n

    The Delegate Certification Committee reviews and approves the list of certified delegates, that is, those attendees able to vote on matters before the conference. The committee\u2019s membership includes three members of the Council of Bishops.<\/p>\n

That year is significant as many Christians will commemorate it as the 2,000th anniversary of the birth, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. It will also be the 2,000th remembrance of Pentecost.       ACTUALIZACI\u00d3N DE LA CONFERENCIA GENERAL: Comisiones de la Conferencia General<\/h1>\r\nEsperamos con inter\u00e9s la Conferencia General de 2021 del IPHC en Jacksonville, Florida, el pr\u00f3ximo mes de julio. En preparaci\u00f3n para el trabajo que haremos en ese momento, el Consejo de Obispos ha designado los siguientes Estatutos, Certificaci\u00f3n de Delegaci\u00f3n y Comit\u00e9s de Decoro. Estamos agradecidos por el liderazgo y el servicio de estos hombres y mujeres mientras ofrecen su tiempo como voluntarios para servir al IPHC.\r\n

      Comit\u00e9 de estatutos<\/h2>\r\nEl Comit\u00e9 de Estatutos es el comit\u00e9 permanente m\u00e1s grande y tiene la responsabilidad del coraz\u00f3n del Manual de IPHC. El comit\u00e9 revisa los estatutos de gobierno de IPHC, considera las enmiendas necesarias por s\u00ed mismo, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n revisa las enmiendas propuestas presentadas por escrito.\r\n

      Comit\u00e9 de decoro<\/h2>\r\nEl Comit\u00e9 de decoro es responsable de la forma en que se llevan a cabo los negocios durante la Conferencia General. El comit\u00e9 presentar\u00e1 su informe en la primera sesi\u00f3n de la conferencia, estableciendo las reglas y procedimientos b\u00e1sicos que regir\u00e1n la presentaci\u00f3n de informes, resoluciones, discusi\u00f3n y debate, nominaciones y elecciones, y votaci\u00f3n.         Comit\u00e9 Delegado de Certificaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\r\nEl Comit\u00e9 de Certificaci\u00f3n de Delegados revisa y aprueba la lista de delegados certificados, es decir, aquellos asistentes que pueden votar sobre asuntos antes de la conferencia.
