On December 23, 1989, Teodor quit his job and began working in full-time ministry. He was only able to do so because God faithfully prepared Teodor for the freedom that would come after the revolution. “God called me and provided in all areas: church and my family. He is and remains faithful!” he shares.

A Scripture that has guided Teodor is Isaiah 54. He took it as a prophecy for his own life: a vision of what he could do and what was to come. Verses 2-3 state, “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back, lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities,” and verse 13 says, “All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.”

Pastor Teodor Bulzan transferring pastorship to his son, Tiberiu

Like the Scripture teaches, Teodor was able to stretch his tent and strengthen his stakes when he began pastoring at Bethany Christian Center in Oradea, Romania, in 1991. Teodor also passed the mantle of bishop to the PH churches in Romania to his other son, Timotei, in 2022.
