It is a date affirmed by millions of people including <\/span><span class=\"s2\">the IPHC and many other<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> Christian denominations. Friday, January 19<\/span><span class=\"s4\">th<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> is the March for Life in Washington, D.C. I am grateful that IPHC participates in this peaceful demonstration. Numerous IPHC leaders and laity, including people from the Royal Home and Falcon Children\u2019s Home in North Carolina, take time to be a public witness for this righteous cause.<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> In addition, on Thursday night January 18<\/span><span class=\"s4\">th<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> IPHC is hosting a special service at Maranatha House of Prayer, 3828 University Blvd E, College Park, Maryland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">The battle for the life of babies in the womb continues across the United States and around the world. Following the 2022 US Supreme Court decision that overturned <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Roe v Wade<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, the fight for life moved to state legislatures. Currently 21 US states have established limitations on abortions. Refer to this map<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> that is current as of January 8, 2024 <\/span><span class=\"s2\">(<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2022\/us\/abortion-laws-roe-v-wade.html\"><span class=\"s6\">https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2022\/us\/abortion-laws-roe-v-wade.html<\/span><\/a><span class=\"s2\">). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">The IPHC holds firm that human life begins at conception and that each person is made in God\u2019s image. Besides the numerous pro-life facilities available in most communities, and the various local IPHC pro-life efforts, there is the Royal Home in Falcon, North Carolina that provides hope, medical care, and education for women facing difficult circumstances. I encourage you to support the Royal Home and support local pro-life centers in your communities.
