On Saturday, November 7, 2015, Emmanuel College hosted the Annual Alumni & Friends Luncheon as part of its homecoming celebration. The Swails Center was full of excitement as friends gathered from across the nation to reminisce and reunite with classmates. Several alumni were honored for their outstanding service and contributions to Emmanuel.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ron White presents Dr. A.D. Beacham, Jr. with the Medallion Award<\/p><\/div>\n

At the conclusion of the luncheon, Dr. Ron White, the newly inaugurated president of Emmanuel College, introduced a new Medallion Award which is Emmanuel’s highest honor given for exceptional service, outstanding dedication and assistance to the college\u2019s mission. President White announced Dr. A.D. Beacham, Jr., General Superintendent of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, as the first recipient of this prestigious award.<\/p>\n

According to Dr. White, \u201cNo one person has done more to keep this school afloat than Dr. A.D. Beacham, Jr.\u201d The last twenty-four months have been a trying time for the school and Beacham has been a resounding voice of affirmation and influence in rallying churches, organizations and conferences to provide stability and support for Emmanuel. White continued, \u201cWe are thankful for all you have done in advancing Emmanuel College and causing its future to be brighter than its past.\u201d<\/p>\n

President White also presented the Distinguished Alumnus Award to Rev. Greg Hearn for his diligent service to Emmanuel College. Rev. Harrison Lampley and David Phillips received the President\u2019s Award for their countless hours of volunteered time to maintain the college grounds throughout the summer.<\/p>\n

Por Janese Bennett<\/strong><\/p>\r\nEl s\u00e1bado 7 de noviembre de 2015 Emmanuel College fue sede de la Alumni & Amigos Almuerzo Anual como parte de la celebraci\u00f3n de su regreso a casa. El Centro Swails estaba lleno de emoci\u00f3n como amigos se reunieron de todo el pa\u00eds para recordar el pasado y reunirse con sus compa\u00f1eros de clase. Varios ex alumnos fueron honrados por su excelente servicio y las contribuciones a Emmanuel. Al concluir el almuerzo, el Dr. Ron White, el reci\u00e9n investido presidente de la universidad de Manuel, introdujo un nuevo medall\u00f3n del premio, que es el m\u00e1s alto honor de Emmanuel dada por el servicio excepcional, extraordinaria dedicaci\u00f3n y asistencia a la misi\u00f3n de la universidad. Presidente Blanca anunci\u00f3 el Dr. AD Beacham, Jr., Superintendente General de la Iglesia Internacional de Santidad Pentecostal, como el primer receptor de este prestigioso premio.
