The IPHC supports life in Washington, DC.<\/p><\/div>\n

Each year on January 22, thousands from around the nation gather on the National Mall for the March for Life. Marchers take this opportunity to speak up for the nearly 58 million lives that have been lost to abortion since the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade<\/em> on January 22, 1973.\u00a0 For the last three years, the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) has joined others in standing for life in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n

This year snowstorm Jonas was threatening as the March began, however a group from the IPHC led by Presiding Bishop Doug Beacham and Royal Home Ministries Director Jonathan Hill gathered at the Best Western Pentagon Hotel to join in worship and prayer for this important cause. Bishop Beacham reaffirmed the IPHC position to support life and encouraged churches to become involved in the March for Life, whether in local rallies or at the national rally in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n

Falcon Children\u2019s Home<\/a> and Royal Home Ministries<\/a> have led the way in the IPHC\u2019s protection of human life. Under the direction of Joey Leggett, Falcon Children\u2019s Home has expanded its ministries to include adoption services, a maternity home (Royal Home Ministries), a Christian academy, and foster care services. Jonathan Hill shared that sadly 32% of unplanned evangelical pregnancies end in abortion. Presently Royal Home Ministries is providing care for 18 mothers and babies, as well as seven pregnant teens in their new facility. Under the direction of John Wheeler, Foster Care Services is helping to meet the needs of children in North Carolina.<\/p>\n

Mission M:25<\/a> Director Gary Burd and several other riders who participated in the 50CC Diaper Run from Jacksonville, Florida to San Diego, California were present to show their support for life. Next year, Mission M:25 plans to expand their motorcycle ride along 1-40 to raise funds and collect diapers for Falcon Children\u2019s Home. At the conclusion of our time of prayer, many made their way home in order to avoid the impending snowstorm. Bishop Abel Palomo and his family from the Mid-Atlantic Conference were able to represent the IPHC as thousands marched for life on the National Mall.<\/p>\n

Wade,<\/em> el 22 de enero de 1973. Durante los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os, la Iglesia de Santidad Pentecostal Internacional (IISP) tiene unido a otros en pie para la vida en Washington, DC.
