The Bicol Coffeehouse Ministry moved to its new location in\u00a0Balatan, another town within Bicol. It is situated in a coastal area of the province. This Coffeehouse also has new workers led by Pastors Mark Guiang, Esther Patnon, and Mers Balanay.<\/p>\n
The ministry started with one cell group in the Duran family through Sister Letty Sales. Last summer, a missions initiative was conducted in Balatan by youth and young professionals in the area. This endeavor helped boost awareness and increase the number of cell groups in town. Then it was decided to open the Coffeehouse in Balatan. After meetings were held with the group headed by Pastor Isagani Kingking and the area was inspected, the Coffeehouse opened on June 1st, 2016. The first Sunday service in Balatan commenced on July 30th, with 30 people in attendance.<\/p>\n
The Coffeehouse doubles as a computer shop, drawing in new faces who come for research and printing services. Four young men are now being discipled as a result of this ministry.<\/p>\n
One of the youth who is a part of this Coffeehouse ministry has started inviting her classmates to attend fellowship events every Friday. It began with 15 youth and increased in number each week. Some of them have already joined Sunday services and inviting their friends, schoolmates and loved ones.<\/p>\n
At the moment, regular Sunday attendance ranges from 30 to 40 people. These individuals are presently involved in weekly cell groups, kids’ Bible study, and youth cell groups. Another cell group has opened in order to serve a family of eight children.<\/p>\n
Pastors Guiang, Patnon and Balanay are now preparing for the first youth events, to be held in February. This will be followed by a training session conducted during cell group meetings. The aim is to provide believers with the opportunity to gain a knowledge and intimacy with Jesus Christ. They will\u00a0learn how to lead cell groups in order to start and develop ministries in their areas.<\/p>\n
Will you pray for more workers for this ministry in order to help them establish this church? Pray for the provision of a sound system and musical instruments such as a bass guitar and drum set to be used for the services. Est\u00e1 situado en una zona costera de la provincia. Este Coffeehouse tambi\u00e9n tiene nuevos trabajadores dirigidos por los Pastores Marcos Guiang, Esther Patnon, y Mers Balanay. El ministerio comenz\u00f3 con un grupo de c\u00e9lulas en la familia Duran por la hermana Letty ventas. El verano pasado, una iniciativa de las misiones se llev\u00f3 a cabo en Balatan por los j\u00f3venes y j\u00f3venes profesionales en el \u00e1rea. Este esfuerzo ayud\u00f3 a aumentar la conciencia y aumentar el n\u00famero de grupos de c\u00e9lulas en la ciudad. Entonces se decidi\u00f3 abrir la cafeter\u00eda en Balatan. Despu\u00e9s se realizaron reuniones con el grupo encabezado por el pastor Isagani Kingking y se inspeccion\u00f3 la zona, el caf\u00e9 se abri\u00f3 el 1 de junio de 2016. El primer servicio de domingo en Balatan comenz\u00f3 el 30 de julio, con 30 personas en la asistencia. El caf\u00e9 funciona como una tienda de inform\u00e1tica, dibujo de caras nuevas que vienen de los servicios de investigaci\u00f3n y de impresi\u00f3n. Cuatro j\u00f3venes est\u00e1n siendo discipulados como resultado de este ministerio. Uno de los j\u00f3venes que es una parte de este ministerio Coffeehouse ha comenzado a invitar a sus compa\u00f1eros de clase para asistir a eventos de la confraternidad todos los viernes. Se inici\u00f3 con 15 j\u00f3venes y un aumento en el n\u00famero de cada semana. Algunos de ellos ya se han unido a los servicios dominicales e invitando a sus amigos, compa\u00f1eros de escuela y seres queridos. Por el momento, la asistencia dominical se extiende de 30 a 40 personas. Estos individuos est\u00e1n involucrados actualmente en grupos semanales de c\u00e9lulas, estudio de la Biblia para ni\u00f1os y grupos de c\u00e9lulas j\u00f3venes. Otro grupo de c\u00e9lulas se ha abierto con el fin de servir a una familia de ocho hijos. Pastores Guiang, Patnon y Balanay se est\u00e1n preparando para los primeros acontecimientos de la juventud, que tendr\u00e1 lugar en febrero. Esto ser\u00e1 seguido por una sesi\u00f3n de entrenamiento realizada durante las reuniones de grupos de c\u00e9lulas. El objetivo es proporcionar a los creyentes con la oportunidad de adquirir un conocimiento e intimidad con Jesucristo. Oren por la provisi\u00f3n de un sistema de sonido e instrumentos musicales como una guitarra bajo y tambor fijado para ser utilizado por los servicios.
