<\/a><\/p>\nThe New Year was coming and we were wondering what we could
\ngive to the believers as we teach in 2018. What precious Word
\nof our Lord could we explain to them to prepare them for the
\nimminent coming of our loving Savior? Their lives are not easy, as
\nmany people in our area are extremely poor. However, they do not
\nshow this in their behavior. Most of them are exuberant in their
\nworship to the Lord.<\/p>\n
We have already taught them that our God is the Almighty, the
\nAlpha and Omega, that all things belong to Him, and that all
\nthings are possible with Him. So now, how do we face the coming
\ndifficulties and perilous times that are ahead? We came to the
\nconclusion that teaching “a greater knowledge of the Almighty” is
\nwhat we should give to the believers we teach in 2018.<\/p>\n
“Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10.<\/em><\/p>\n Could we teach them that under all circumstances they can be still and trust God, even when there are What if we could lure the believers away from the distractions of this world, which Satan puts so lavishly “Be still and know that I am God. Muchas de nuestras iglesias en el sur de \u00c1frica tienen pisos de concreto, sin techos, ventanas b\u00e1sicas, ba\u00f1os exteriores, sin aire acondicionado y p\u00falpitos artesanales hechos con madera de desecho. Sin embargo, las personas all\u00ed est\u00e1n llenas del gozo del Se\u00f1or: danzar, cantar y dar testimonio de la provisi\u00f3n y la grandeza de Dios.<\/p>\r\n
\nwars and rumors of wars; when there are famines and earthquakes in various places; and when they are
\nhated for Jesus’ sake? Could we then, quietly like children, look up to our Father and be still before Him,
\nbelieving that all things are in His hands?<\/p>\n
\nin front of their eyes? Could we teach in such a way that our Lord Jesus and our Loving Father become
\nmore valuable to the believers than this world which is damned for destruction? What would happen if
\neach of us had a small closet to hide in, where we daily seek Him earnestly with His word in our hands?
\nSlowly but surely the character of our Father would become clearer in our minds and hearts, and we
\nwould start to trust Him more and more to the point where we come to believe that to die is gain. (Phil.
\n1:21). To be with our Lord forever is more to be desired than the frilly, empty attractions of this world.
\nGrant that the Lord will give us the ability, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, to make this clear to His
\nchildren in 2018.<\/p>\n
