Greetings Faithful Supporters,<\/p>\n

Youth will be taught to strengthen their faith in God, to be established in the lordship of Christ, and to walk in the Spirit. They will be trained, equipped, and released to pray for the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cWORLD CHANGERS\u201d \u2013 The young prayer warriors are the world\u2019s greatest hope for such a time as this. Children and youth in our churches, moving swiftly and praying fervently, will have authoritative voices. Their eyes will reflect the fire of God, with their very beings powerfully full of His presence.<\/p>\n

One child may stand before the congregation and expound the word of God with wisdom far beyond his years. Another might come forth in mighty intercession. One after another will pray, interpret, preach, prophesy, teach, and intercede with a profusion of God\u2019s power flowing through them. Miracles, signs, and wonders will follow, as people fall to their knees, weeping, confessing their sins, being healed, and being set free.<\/p>\n

These past 20 years, serving in Malawi with you as ministry partners, seeing the seed you have sowed work its way out to a new generation of leaders with a heart for children, has encouraged us all to continue to implement this strategy to take the nations in Southern Africa. Thank you for your faithful giving, and for sending me to serve, learn, and make a deeper commitment to serve more nations in the next three years while I am on the mission field. I hope to see the above vision manifest in all nations.<\/p>\n

Thank you for your continued prayers as the Malawian leaders take the Guthrie Bible Training Centre to the next level of growth. While in their ownership, I believe that they will lead the church with programs and projects that focus on the Great Commission.<\/p>\n

Thank you for helping me develop the Children's Ministry Teaching Teams. These teachers are strengthening their skills and abilities to challenge children\u2019s workers to be well equipped and prepared to share the gospel. Through your support, they are leading children to Christ and teaching them about spiritual growth subjects. The teachers are pursuing their own goals, and they are to be credentialed international instructors. Pray as they develop their effectiveness and that they will be stronger as potential missionaries who could be sent from Malawi to serve other nations.<\/p>\n

Teachers<\/p><\/div>\n

By looking at Southern Africa and seeing the platform where God has placed me in 2019 moving forward, I can tell that there will be radical changes. These changes will be done through mobilizing and equipping churches to embrace the kids in their community; reaching, leading, and discipling them to be Christ to their nations. Psalm 2:8: \"Ask of me the nations, and I shall give them to you. I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.\u201d Remember then the assurance in Psalm 8:2: \u201cThrough the praises of children and infants, you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.\u201d<\/p>\n

You are part of this team, through your partnership with the ministry, seeking to reach every child in Southern Africa so that they will arise. What we want is to see this extremely simple strategy at work to honor God\u2019s will in Matthew 18:14.<\/p>\n

\u2022 We want kids to hear the gospel.<\/p>\n

\u2022 We want kids to receive Christ.<\/p>\n

\u2022 We want kids to be baptized in water.<\/p>\n

\u2022 We want kids to grow strong in God.<\/p>\n

\u2022 We want kids to be mighty in the Spirit.<\/p>\n

\u2022 We want kids to step up and be the leaders in an ungodly world.<\/p>\n

The new building will be a memorial church with stones of memory to thank God for preparing each one who sent missionaries and who served in Malawi, as well as the seed investors who helped to develop Malawi. Thank you for giving to the Global Outreach Offering. The boundary wall around the Guthrie Bible School needed security walls to be able to develop the land that was required to serve the Southern Conference with multi-purpose buildings and to develop a Christian university as the Malawi leaders desire to do in the future.<\/p>\n

\r\n\r\nSaludos desde Jap\u00f3n!\r\n\r\n\u00a1En abril, el Se\u00f1or abri\u00f3 nuevas y emocionantes puertas para el ministerio en Vietnam y Laos!\r\n

VIETNAM<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\nVietnam se encuentra entre los 20 mejores pa\u00edses del mundo donde los cristianos sufren la peor persecuci\u00f3n. El gobierno comunista busca monitorear y controlar sus actividades, mientras que sus propias comunidades las excluyen por traicionar a las religiones ancestrales que definen su cultura. Sin embargo, la iglesia sigue creciendo y multiplic\u00e1ndose incluso en este clima hostil.\r\n\r\nJunto con el Director Nacional de IPHC de Tailandia, el Dr. Wallapa, yo (Russell) viaj\u00e9 a las afueras de Hanoi para organizar dos d\u00edas de capacitaci\u00f3n para 50 pastores, l\u00edderes y plantadores de iglesias. Algunos viajaron hasta 400 millas para asistir a la capacitaci\u00f3n.\r\n\r\nEl campus donde conocimos casas no solo es una iglesia y una escuela de capacitaci\u00f3n, sino tambi\u00e9n un hogar para ni\u00f1os y un centro de rehabilitaci\u00f3n de drogas. La adicci\u00f3n al opio es un flagelo terrible en este pa\u00eds y, a menudo, deja a los ni\u00f1os abandonados o descuidados por los padres adictos a las drogas. LAOS<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\nDesde Vietnam, entr\u00e9 a Laos por primera vez para hacer dos d\u00edas de entrenamiento en un seminario en Xiang Khouang. Pastor K, el l\u00edder de nuestro trabajo en Laos, es un ex alumno de la Dra. Wallapa en Tailandia, y ella lo ayud\u00f3 a abrir el seminario. \u00a1Me sorprendi\u00f3 saber que la congregaci\u00f3n local del pastor K comprende a m\u00e1s de 700 personas!\r\n\r\nLaos tambi\u00e9n se encuentra entre los 20 principales pa\u00edses donde la persecuci\u00f3n de los cristianos es peor. El gobierno comunista supervisa y controla las actividades religiosas, obligando a las iglesias en las casas a operar bajo tierra. Este peque\u00f1o pa\u00eds alberga a 128 grupos distintos de personas, el 85% de los cuales se clasifican como no alcanzados. Estos incluyen m\u00e1s de 5 millones de personas, casi el 80% de la poblaci\u00f3n.\r\n\r\nLa iglesia fue fundada por el padre del pastor K, quien, de joven, luch\u00f3 en el lado estadounidense contra las fuerzas comunistas en la d\u00e9cada de 1970. En 2002, el padre fue encarcelado dos veces por actividades cristianas. Milagrosamente, en 2005, el embajador de los Estados Unidos visit\u00f3 el \u00e1rea y persuadi\u00f3 al gobernador regional para que le otorgara al ex prisionero un permiso para actividades religiosas. \u00a1La iglesia contin\u00faa operando legal y p\u00fablicamente!\r\n\r\nNuestro viaje incluy\u00f3 visitas a iglesias, hogares infantiles y posibles propiedades para el desarrollo de proyectos de apoyo. \u00a1Lo m\u00e1s importante es que oramos por y con los creyentes laosianos sobre sus necesidades y su visi\u00f3n de plantar iglesias entre los no alcanzados!\r\n

PUNTOS PARA LA ORACION<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\u2022 Ore por las iglesias y creyentes perseguidos de Vietnam y Laos. Ore por protecci\u00f3n, libertad religiosa y testimonio fiel y fruct\u00edfero.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\u2022 Ore por los programas de capacitaci\u00f3n para movilizar y equipar a pastores y sembradores de iglesias para alcanzar a los no alcanzados.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\u2022 Ore por la provisi\u00f3n financiera para las escuelas, hogares de ni\u00f1os y ministerios de tratamiento de drogas.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n\u2022 Contin\u00fae orando por nosotros mientras brindamos supervisi\u00f3n a una docena de pa\u00edses en Asia, y mientras buscamos movilizar personal y recursos para completar la Gran Comisi\u00f3n.<\/strong>\r\n\u00a1Gracias por su colaboraci\u00f3n en el evangelio!<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
