Exciting Summer in Ecuador<\/h2>\n

It has been a busy summer in Ecuador! We have had the privilege of hosting many teams and have seen great things happen. We have seen building projects start, salvations, healings, and hearts being united as one. Our training for pastors, LTI, is up and running and there is a new excitement among our pastors. We believe the best is still yet to come for the work here in Ecuador!<\/p>\n

\"Group<\/a> \"Group<\/a><\/p>\n

What an honor to have had the Emmanuel Singers with us over the summer! Led by Rev. Tres and Rachael Ward, we had our first-ever Music and Youth Conference. There were over 100 in attendance. This group left such an impact on the youth of the IPHC in Ecuador and formed relationships that will last through eternity.<\/p>\n

\"Building<\/a><\/p>\n

The Marysville Church and The Well Church from the South Carolina Conference blessed our church in the south with a children\/youth room and a new apartment for our pastors, Jorge and Anabela Navarrette. The bottom floor will soon serve as a larger sanctuary.<\/p>\n

Attached are just a few pictures of our teams from Northpointe, Fountain of Life, Bethel Life, and The Message Church. I wish there was room to share more! Each team was such a blessing in Quito, Tulcan, Otavalo, and Macas.<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a> \"A<\/a> \"People<\/a> \"Children's<\/a><\/p>\n

The land is cleared in Otavalo. We will start building soon. The city went in and paved the streets, put in curbing and sidewalks, AND added a bus stop right in front of where the church is being built. This is an unforeseen blessing provided by the Lord!<\/p>\n

Our furlough is just around the corner. Please be in prayer for us as we transition back to the States, and as we raise our support for our second term. God has been so faithful the past three years, and we know His faithfulness and favor will continue to be upon us!<\/p>\n

"Es un amigo que se acerca m\u00e1s que un hermano ..." <\/p>

\u00a1Saludos y bendiciones para ti!<\/strong> <\/p>

<\/p>

Han alentado nuestros corazones de innumerables maneras. Dios es un amigo fiel, y muchos de ustedes, nuestra familia de amigos, nos han apoyado durante a\u00f1os, colaborando con nosotros a trav\u00e9s de sus oraciones y ofrendas. \u00a1Gracias! <\/p>

Una de esas amigas era una ni\u00f1a que asist\u00eda a First Tarboro Church en Carolina del Norte en 1935. Le ense\u00f1aron misiones porque los l\u00edderes de la iglesia ten\u00edan una visi\u00f3n misionera. Los domingos, su madre le daba un centavo por la ofrenda de la Escuela Dominical y uno por la "Marcha del centavo misionero". Hoy ella, la Sra. Ruth Bunting, est\u00e1 en el consejo de misiones de su iglesia y, como muchos de ustedes, ha crecido viendo , apoyando y siendo amigo de misioneros en todo el mundo. <\/p>

El llamado misionero todav\u00eda suena ruidosamente cuando los no alcanzados mueren sin conocer a nuestro fiel Amigo, Jes\u00fas. Recientemente vimos la necesidad durante una visita a un pa\u00eds del norte de \u00c1frica. Hab\u00edamos hecho arreglos para reunirnos con Sara, una trabajadora cristiana all\u00ed, con la esperanza de poder adorar con ella y con creyentes que ella pudiera conocer. Sara hab\u00eda estado ministrando en el norte de \u00c1frica durante a\u00f1os y, milagrosamente, pudo seguir viviendo all\u00ed, a pesar del endurecimiento de los permisos de visado. Aproximadamente tres meses antes de nuestra visita, se hab\u00eda mudado a un lugar diferente para desarrollar su peque\u00f1a empresa "aprobada por el gobierno". Desafortunadamente, ella todav\u00eda no hab\u00eda encontrado ning\u00fan grupo cristiano, y la \u00fanica iglesia que pudo encontrar fue cat\u00f3lica. <\/p>

<\/p>

\u00a1Sara estaba emocionada de reunirse y compartir con un compa\u00f1ero creyente en su idioma nativo! Escuch\u00e9 su historia mientras est\u00e1bamos sentados hablando espa\u00f1ol y bebiendo bebidas de frutas en la \u00fanica mesa afuera de una peque\u00f1a tienda de la esquina. Le di algunas cosas que nos hab\u00eda pedido que traj\u00e9ramos de Espa\u00f1a, y estaba agradecida. Ella comparti\u00f3 sus luchas, sus desaf\u00edos y su soledad. Oramos y nos abrazamos antes de que se apresurara a tomar el autob\u00fas a su pueblo antes de que la oscuridad se asentara. Es una valiente sirvienta del Se\u00f1or, que se apoya en su fiel Amigo. Ella es apoyada por su lejana familia cristiana que comparte su deseo de proclamar las Buenas Nuevas al mundo entero. <\/p>

\u2022 La cirug\u00eda de Gary fue exitosa y nuestros planes est\u00e1n programados para regresar a Espa\u00f1a en septiembre. <\/p>

\u2022 La madre de Gary ha mejorado mucho desde su cirug\u00eda e, incluso a los 92 a\u00f1os, puede vivir sola (con las visitas diarias de su hija). <\/p>

\u2022 A trav\u00e9s de las redes sociales, podemos mantener contacto con nuestros amigos en Espa\u00f1a y en todo el mundo. Justo esta ma\u00f1ana, recibimos mensajes de amigos jordanos e iraqu\u00edes que no hemos visto en a\u00f1os. <\/p>
