Greetings Faithful Supporters,<\/p>\n

\"Cathedral thinking\" was explained at both the Global Assembly in Chile and at the Missionary Gathering in Bulgaria. This term means that we should all be actively participating in an unfinished work, which will benefit the generations to come. This teaching, from Bishop Talmadge Gardner, is stimulating my thoughts and strategies for effectiveness as a mentor.<\/p>\n

\"Missionaries<\/a>

Prayer at the Missionary Family Gathering<\/p><\/div>\n

What is the unfinished work, project, or building? I wish I could drone above the earth and highlight all the actual buildings on earth where God's people worship, pray, and learn God's word. This way, I could know more of the history. Then, I think about what we cannot see: God's Kingdom, His sons and daughters being built. We need to grasp eternal opportunities. For example, in India, the Christians feel forced to deny faith in Jesus Christ and take on the Hindu faith so that they will not have their homes destroyed. These people have not been rooted in deep understanding and conviction of the eternal opportunities that are in God's Kingdom. Therefore, they have no knowledge their roles as kings, priests, and prophets. This lack of understanding makes room for fear, and it rules over their faith as Christians.<\/p>\n

What are these eternal opportunities? What do we need to teach to remain triumphant eternal kingdom builders, and to reflect God's majesty while mentoring the next generation?<\/p>\n

After living our lives in spiritual battles and overcoming them, our experience can be used to mentor the coming generations of God\u2019s family. This mentoring is now our lifestyle wherever God takes us, being sent by Him with a desire that all will repent, be baptized, and be led by His Holy Spirit. Then, to hold fast so that no one may take their crown. It must be taught to stand strong, endure to the end, keep the faith, grow in grace and knowledge, and love one another. Our life purpose is to be a living sacrifice, acceptable to God, as His servant leaders who guide and direct people on earth to the kingdom of light. Then, with a sense of urgency, we must teach the Bible, which is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. How well do we know and practice God\u2019s way of being triumphant kingdom builders? If we are faithful in our lives now, we will be granted the eternal opportunity to be faithful with much more in our eternal lives.<\/p>\n

\"Students<\/a>

Students in Mauritius learning how to share the gospel with kids<\/p><\/div>\n

Faithful ones, thank you for receiving me in your conferences, churches, and homes. The six-month furlough period blessed my heart, and you have touched my heart with your renewed and new faith commitments, love, care, and generosity. Pray as I go to each nation to encourage, empower, and equip those arriving in the fullness of the blessings of the gospel of Christ! (Romans 15:29)<\/p>\n

I arrived in Mauritius, after leaving the U.S. on August 20, to present to the church some possible training programs to plan out for the future, and to train them on \"How to Share the Gospel with Kids.\" The church members were excited and are making their plans to reach kids in Mauritius. Our goal - His will - is for not one to perish (Matt. 18:14)<\/p>\n

From the airport in Mauritius, arriving on the west coast where Gaby, my daughter, now lives, I walked into the arms of my two grandsons, Trian and Christian! I was so grateful for the timing and opportunity to support Gaby while she settled the boys at their new school and in their exciting afternoon activities. I look forward to seeing them grow into great witnesses among their new friends. Remain in prayer for the protection of our families and for their hearts to remain steadfast in the faith.<\/p>\n

My grandsons, Trian and Christian<\/p><\/div>\n

It sure was flight after flight from the U.S, to South Africa, to Mauritius, to Bulgaria, and back to South Africa. Soon, I will fly to Malawi. This is the first week of October, and I am writing this letter from the IPHC Southern Africa offices in Krugersdorp. Some administration and accounting needs to be done, as well as planning in order for the ministry work ahead to be effective.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Sharon PHC Memorial Church was rebuilt over the past 10 years. Now it is roofed. It will represent the history of the missionary work in Malawi. Thank you to all those who responded to help, and to those at the mission meals in North Carolina who have helped us complete this roofing project. Pray as the next generation of leaders are prepared to lead from the knowledge of where God has taken them, to evangelizing to the ends of the earth. In order to honor the seed sowers there, in Malawi, plaques will be posted with the title, \u201cGreat Commissioners.\" If you know of a seed sower who has impacted Malawi, email me their name and information along with a scripture reference that relates at altheameyer5@gmail.com<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sharon IPHC Memorial Church<\/p><\/div>\n

Guthrie Bible Training Centre's wall was\u00a0completed after gabs were left for access\u00a0to the river for water resources to build\u00a0the double highway nearest to the school\u00a0and the road into the city of Blantyre.\u00a0The gabs are built and the gate is now\u00a0installed. A property signpost now needs\u00a0to be completed, locks are needed for the\u00a0gates, and a concrete driveway is needed\u00a0to lead to the gate.<\/p>\n

\u00a1Saludos desde Jap\u00f3n!<\/strong> <\/p>

Siembra y cosecha en Camboya<\/strong><\/span> <\/h2>

Camboya se encuentra entre los pa\u00edses m\u00e1s pobres de Asia, tanto material como espiritualmente. Han pasado cuarenta a\u00f1os desde que Pol Pot y su Khmer Rouge mataron a m\u00e1s de dos millones de personas en un intento de establecer una utop\u00eda agraria comunista, pero el legado de esos a\u00f1os del holocausto todav\u00eda se puede observar en una grave falta de infraestructura, educaci\u00f3n, oportunidades y esperanza. Menos del 1% de los camboyanos conocen a Jesucristo como Se\u00f1or y Salvador. <\/p>

En septiembre, Russell ayud\u00f3 a organizar y dirigir un equipo ministerial a Camboya para llevar a cabo una serie de cl\u00ednicas m\u00e9dicas en varias aldeas. Los miembros del equipo vinieron de Carolina del Norte, Carolina del Sur, Georgia, Jap\u00f3n y Filipinas. <\/p>

Las condiciones a menudo eran r\u00fasticas, ya que ten\u00edamos cl\u00ednicas en las iglesias del pueblo. En un lugar, los funcionarios locales nos obligaron a cerrar. El gobierno budista autoritario vigila de cerca y a veces restringe las actividades de los cristianos. <\/p>

Junto con el personal m\u00e9dico, tuvimos la suerte de contar con un contingente de j\u00f3venes sobresalientes para ministrar a los ni\u00f1os en cada lugar. \u00a1Estamos orgullosos de decir que nuestro nieto Alex fue parte de este equipo din\u00e1mico! <\/p>

\u00a1Los ni\u00f1os disfrutaron jugando juegos al aire libre, haciendo manualidades, escuchando historias de la Biblia, aprendiendo canciones del evangelio y simplemente divirti\u00e9ndose! \u00a1Lo mejor de todo es que los ni\u00f1os aprendieron a orar a Jes\u00fas y tuvieron la oportunidad de ofrecerle sus vidas! <\/p>

En a\u00f1os pasados, hemos invertido tiempo, esfuerzo y financiamiento en viajes similares, ayudando a trabajos pioneros y cavando pozos para las aldeas. \u00a1En este viaje, nos complaci\u00f3 especialmente ver el fruto de estas inversiones en forma de nuevas y pr\u00f3speras iglesias! <\/p>

PUNTOS PARA LA ORACI\u00d3N<\/strong><\/span> <\/h2>

\u2022 Ore para que las iglesias en Camboya no sean oprimidas y restringidas en sus actividades, sino que tengan libertad para adorar y difundir el evangelio. <\/p>

\u2022 Nuestras iglesias est\u00e1n ayudando a los j\u00f3venes en sus comunidades ense\u00f1ando ingl\u00e9s y ofreciendo capacitaci\u00f3n en inform\u00e1tica. Ore para que los j\u00f3venes est\u00e9n equipados para servir al Se\u00f1or y traer prosperidad a su naci\u00f3n. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore por el misionero que dirige nuestro trabajo en Camboya, Rev. Merlen Lamanilao de Filipinas. Ore por su apoyo financiero y por su hija adolescente que pronto se graduar\u00e1 de la escuela secundaria. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore por los pr\u00f3ximos viajes a Tailandia y Nepal, por viajes seguros y un ministerio efectivo. <\/p>

\u2022 Nuestro apoyo financiero se ha reducido, lo que dificulta nuestra capacidad de viajar y ministrar. Ore para que nuestro apoyo aumente y considere ayudar a responder a esa oraci\u00f3n. <\/p>
