DEAR FRIENDS,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s springtime in Germany, everything is green again, and the cycle of life begins anew. Just like you, and people everywhere in the world, we are facing new challenges adjusting to the Corona Virus Pandemic. Our prayer for you is, \u201dMay God prosper you and keep you in good health, even as your soul prospers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although a stay at home order has been in effect, the German government allows folks to get outside for essential needs such as groceries, fuel, and even exercise (of course understanding you will follow the social distancing regulations).<\/p>\n

BIKE EVANGELISM<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

One thing I enjoy doing is what I call \u201cBike Evangelism.\u201d Right behind our apartment is a bike path that runs for 75 miles along an old railroad line. Hundreds of people ride on this parkway each day. While riding on the parkway, God has given me opportunity to share the gospel with many bikers who have stopped to rest along the way. I offer to pray for people and then give them a \u201cGospel of John.\u201d This good seed, I believe, will fall into good hearts and produce faith in Christ. His Word will not return void!<\/p>\n

BIBLE STUDY TO REFUGEES IN BELGIUM<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In January we started a weekly Bible Study with a Pakistani couple who live in a Red Cross refugee center in our target city, Eupen, Belgium. Before the lockdown, each Thursday, we had precious times getting to know each other, eating together, studying the Word and praying together. Belgium borders were closed the middle of March. Since we live in Germany, now we cannot travel across the border to be together. We continue to encourage and share devotionals and scripture through internet and look forward to restrictions being lifted and being together again.<\/p>\n

\nBEAUTY FOR ASHES - OUTREACH IN THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The red light district in Aachen has been closed for over a month. Some of the women went back to their home countries to be with their families during this time of social distancing.<\/p>\n

However, many others are on lock down with their pimps where they continue to be exploited online and where they are forced to work in horrible and unsafe venues and situations. Many girls are housed together, forced to work, thus exposed to sickness and abuse. Please pray for their safety and their health - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.<\/p>\n

LAUNCHING NEW ONLINE OUTREACH<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIf clients can find women advertising on the internet, then so can we!\" Even before the pandemic, there has been a rise in Online Advertising for Prostitution. In February, Jeannie attended an \u201cOnline Outreach Workshop\u201d to learn how others are effectively using modern tools we have available to us (computer, internet, and phone texting). We heard of successful ways to effectively communicate with the ladies, arrange times\/ways to then meet with them, give a gift basket and to share Christ's love.<\/p>\n

\u201cBUILDING AN ALTAR\u201d WEEKEND<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In March, before the lockdown, we were able to host two special Women\u2019s events. Our guest speaker, Barb Swanson, Victory Church OKC, encouraged and challenged each of us through the Word of God and with her own testimony of fighting and victoriously overcoming the challenges we all face. It was a very special time for all! Thank you for your prayers during the \u201cCaronatime.\u201d This too shall pass. Remember you are an overcomer through Christ who strengthens you!<\/p>\n

Queridos amigos,<\/strong><\/span> <\/p>

\u00a1Saludos! \u00a1Estamos muy agradecidos por ti! \u00a1Gracias por su aliento y amor a trav\u00e9s de sus oraciones, apoyo misionero, cartas y textos! <\/p>

Aqu\u00ed, es un d\u00eda de celebraci\u00f3n ~ el 30 aniversario de la ca\u00edda del Muro de Berl\u00edn. Hace treinta a\u00f1os y, sin embargo, lo recordamos todo tan v\u00edvidamente como si fuera ayer. <\/p>

Est\u00e1bamos sirviendo en nuestro primer mandato como misioneros en Alemania. Nuestros vecinos, Klaus y Doris, vinieron corriendo a nuestro apartamento para hacernos ver la cobertura de televisi\u00f3n y presenciar este incre\u00edble evento de la historia con ellos. \u00a1Qu\u00e9 gran desaf\u00edo y nuevas oportunidades evangel\u00edsticas esto trajo para la iglesia! La primera vez que fuimos a Alemania no ten\u00edamos idea de que cinco a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s vivir\u00edamos en Berl\u00edn Oriental, predicando el evangelio y plantando una iglesia all\u00ed. <\/p>

Estamos eternamente agradecidos por las bendiciones de Dios, y confiamos en \u00c9l ahora a medida que continuamos en el evangelismo y la plantaci\u00f3n de iglesias en Europa, en nuestra nueva asignaci\u00f3n en B\u00e9lgica y en la secci\u00f3n m\u00e1s occidental de Alemania. <\/p>

Al pensar en Europa, muchos piensan en las hermosas catedrales, monumentos, castillos, majestuosas salas de gobierno y pintorescos pueblos. Cuando todos se hayan derrumbado, Cristo se pondr\u00e1 de pie. La pregunta es, \u00bfcu\u00e1ntos europeos estar\u00e1n con \u00e9l? Estamos desafiados con esta pregunta, y la respuesta es "\u00a1no es suficiente!"<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>

Hay muros espirituales que necesitan caer aqu\u00ed donde servimos. Una estad\u00edstica sorprendente: la poblaci\u00f3n cristiana en B\u00e9lgica es del 1,35%. La mayor\u00eda de la poblaci\u00f3n cristiana cubre inmigrantes de otros pa\u00edses que eran creyentes antes de su llegada. La regi\u00f3n de habla alemana es la zona menos evangelizada de B\u00e9lgica. Con poca influencia de los ministerios llenos del Esp\u00edritu, existe una necesidad urgente de evangelismo y nuevas iglesias que dan vida. Por eso estamos aqu\u00ed. <\/p>

Redes y conexiones para la nueva planta de la iglesia<\/strong><\/span> <\/h2>

Hemos sido intencionales en hacer conexiones mientras nos preparamos, planificamos, rezamos y reunimos personas para la nueva plantaci\u00f3n de iglesias. <\/p>

Despu\u00e9s de mudarnos a nuestra nueva \u00e1rea objetivo, comenzamos a establecer contactos con creyentes y pastores en el \u00e1rea fronteriza entre B\u00e9lgica y Alemania. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore para que Dios contin\u00fae formando nuestro grupo central. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore para que Dios nos permita plantar una iglesia que plante

\u2022 Ore para que muchas vidas se transformen a medida que se conectan con
\u00a1Jes\u00fas, nuestro asombroso Se\u00f1or! <\/p>

Beauty for Ashes<\/strong><\/span> es el nuevo contacto con las mujeres prostituidas en el barrio rojo de Aquisgr\u00e1n. Nuestro equipo visita regularmente a las ni\u00f1as, comparte nuestro amor y comparte el amor de Cristo con ellas. <\/p>

Nos gustar\u00eda abrir una cafeter\u00eda en el barrio rojo y creemos que esto nos dar\u00e1 m\u00e1s oportunidades para invitar a las mujeres a "nuestro lugar" para proporcionar un lugar seguro de reuni\u00f3n para descansar, ofrecer una comida saludable, establecer relaciones con ellas, asesorar, y, sobre todo, \u00a1comparta c\u00f3mo Cristo puede dar nueva vida, esperanza y belleza para las cenizas! <\/p>

* La unci\u00f3n del Esp\u00edritu Santo en el equipo cuando compartimos el amor de Cristo.
* Equipo de seguridad mientras caminamos por el distrito y hablamos con las chicas.
* Provisi\u00f3n y oportunidad de alquilar un lugar peque\u00f1o para una cafeter\u00eda.
* Citas divinas. <\/p>
