GREETINGS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Dear mission partner,<\/p>\n

Greetings to you from Tanzania in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I hope all is well with you and your loved ones after all that has happened in the first half of this year. Glory to God for He has seen us through, even to enter the second half of 2020. It has been a tough time for all of us, especially due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n

THE PROGRESS OF THE WORK IN TANZANIA<\/span><\/h3>\n

There are so many things which we have experienced this year so far. We have had good and tough times, but all in all, God is faithful and has good thoughts toward us. He loves us more than we think. Glory to His holy name. We have been able (you and I) to drill a well on the church property at Mvumi Morogoro, as well as do some work on the church building, which was not finished when Mrema went to his eternal home. We also built the outhouse, which was a great need for this congregation. Secondly, we put metal doors on the church at Kilosa also in the Morogoro region.<\/p>\n

THE UNFINISHED WORK<\/span><\/h3>\n

We now have three churches that are not completely finished, but they are in a good state. Two of these need floors and plastering, and one needs the completion of side rooms, the pastor\u2019s office, and Sunday school rooms for the children. Thank you, SC Conference, and you, partner, for your prayers and contributions.<\/p>\n

THE ROUGH PART<\/span><\/h3>\n

I applied for the renewal of my work permit in February, but I do not have it yet. This permit allows me to work in Tanzania as a missionary. It was denied at first, but we decided to appeal our case on June 25, 2020. As I am writing this letter, I have not heard from the Ministry of Labour, but I am waiting and hoping for a positive response soon.<\/p>\n

In the month June, I was diagnosed with H.Pylori, a stomach bacteria that causes peptic ulcers. This causes a lot of discomfort in the stomach, including vomiting. PTL I am on medication and doing much, much better.<\/p>\n

PRAYER REQUESTS<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u2022 Please join me in prayer for the church in Tanzania. Pastors and church members are struggling economically, even for the basic needs due to COVID-19.
\n\u2022 Pray for my Work Visa to come out positively and soon.
\n\u2022 Pray for this bacteria to clear out from my system.<\/p>\n

Thank you again for what you do for missions. May the Lord satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation.<\/p>\n

Saludos a ustedes en el poderoso nombre de Jesucristo nuestro Se\u00f1or y Salvador. S\u00e9 que has estado en cuarentena durante mucho tiempo debido a COVID19. Mi oraci\u00f3n ha sido para que Dios Todopoderoso te proteja y te mantenga seguro y fuerte. <\/p>

APRECIACI\u00d3N<\/span> <\/h3>

Quisiera agradecerles por sus continuas oraciones por m\u00ed y otros misioneros en todo el mundo. Sus contribuciones financieras mensuales me han mantenido en la obra de Dios en Tanzania. Muchas gracias. <\/p>

EL PROGRESO DEL TRABAJO EN EL CAMPO DE LA MISI\u00d3N<\/span> <\/h3>

He supervisado el trabajo de perforar un pozo en una de nuestras iglesias de PH en una comunidad llamada Mvumi. Esta iglesia est\u00e1 en una comunidad donde el agua es un bien escaso. Normalmente compran agua en cubos. Estaban muy contentos y agradecidos por el agua limpia. Gracias, Rev. Lloyd Ackerman, y los santos de la Unidad Christian Fellowship Church por apoyar este proyecto. <\/p>

LA IGLESIA MVUMI<\/span> <\/h3>

La iglesia de Mvumi no ten\u00eda paredes cuando Mrema se fue a su casa, pero comenzamos los trabajos de construcci\u00f3n en febrero, y ahora las paredes est\u00e1n levantadas. \u00a1Gloria a Dios! Gracias, SC Conference, por ayudar con este trabajo. Cuando el virus desaparezca haremos el piso y el yeso. <\/p>

Ore por la econom\u00eda de la iglesia en Tanzania. La mayor\u00eda de las familias solo tienen una peque\u00f1a porci\u00f3n de una comida al d\u00eda para sobrevivir. <\/p>
