SPECIAL GREETINGS TO YOU.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

I am happy to let you know that the presence of the Lord is with me, and I am well in my body and soul. It is so wonderful to have One who promises never to leave us or forsake us. He is my strength, my confidence, and consolation; my All in all situations.<\/p>\n

My missionary activities have changed some because of the Covid-19 virus situation that has also affected Kenya. However, I am still here in Nairobi and live not far from Calvary Worship Centre. Ron and Sharon Wooten are family and caregivers to me. I have joy ministering to people more one on one these days, praying for individual people and leaders, and encouraging the saints. I have the opportunity to distribute tracts, booklets, and some Bibles and songbooks. I have loaned out and given away some of my books to encourage others. I contact some of our pastors, leaders, and members, encouraging them and assuring them of my prayers during this time. I do join others in praying as groups over the phone these days. It is a joy to be connected in prayer together like that. We are hoping that our churches will be able to open soon.<\/p>\n

I do want to share one thing. I am really in debt. I am sorry to share that I will never be able to repay my debts, as it seems.<\/p>\n

I want to explain. The debt that I owe which I can never repay is my debt to you. I do thank you most sincerely for the support you have given to me for years as a missionary. There are so many of you. You have been so faithful. I pray for you and believe you have an eternal reward for everything that I have been enabled to accomplish for the Lord in Africa.<\/p>\n

Philip and I came to Africa in 1962. We have been in so many different types of ministry over the years in several countries in Africa. To mention all of those different types of ministry would take too long now, and space will not allow.<\/p>\n

I cannot repay you, but the Lord knows all you have given and all the prayers you have prayed. I send you a great big THANK YOU VERY MUCH. May God bless you more. You have a part and reward for all that has been accomplished for His glory. My prayer for you is, \u201cGod bless you in very special ways.\u201d Otherwise, I can never repay you. His blessings and favor are His rewards to you. Also, I expect to be in heaven together with you one day, rejoicing around the throne. Amen!<\/p>\n

Estimado compa\u00f1ero de misi\u00f3n, <\/p>

Saludos desde Tanzania en el poderoso nombre de Jesucristo, nuestro Se\u00f1or y Salvador. Espero que todo est\u00e9 bien con usted y sus seres queridos despu\u00e9s de todo lo que sucedi\u00f3 en la primera mitad de este a\u00f1o. Gloria a Dios porque \u00c9l nos ha visto, incluso para entrar en la segunda mitad de 2020. Ha sido un momento dif\u00edcil para todos nosotros, especialmente debido a COVID-19. <\/p>

EL PROGRESO DEL TRABAJO EN TANZANIA<\/span> <\/h3>

Hay tantas cosas que hemos experimentado este a\u00f1o hasta ahora. Hemos tenido tiempos buenos y dif\u00edciles, pero en general, Dios es fiel y tiene buenos pensamientos hacia nosotros. Nos ama m\u00e1s de lo que pensamos. Gloria a su santo nombre. Hemos podido (usted y yo) perforar un pozo en la propiedad de la iglesia en Mvumi Morogoro, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n trabajar en el edificio de la iglesia, que no estaba terminado cuando Mrema fue a su hogar eterno. Tambi\u00e9n construimos la letrina, lo cual era una gran necesidad para esta congregaci\u00f3n. En segundo lugar, colocamos puertas de metal en la iglesia de Kilosa tambi\u00e9n en la regi\u00f3n de Morogoro. <\/p>

EL TRABAJO SIN TERMINAR<\/span> <\/h3>

Ahora tenemos tres iglesias que no est\u00e1n completamente terminadas, pero est\u00e1n en buen estado. Dos de estos necesitan pisos y enlucidos, y uno necesita completar los cuartos laterales, la oficina del pastor y los salones de la escuela dominical para los ni\u00f1os. Gracias, SC Conference, y usted, socio, por sus oraciones y contribuciones. <\/p>

La parte \u00e1spera<\/span> <\/h3>

Solicit\u00e9 la renovaci\u00f3n de mi permiso de trabajo en febrero, pero a\u00fan no lo tengo. Este permiso me permite trabajar en Tanzania como misionero. Al principio fue denegado, pero decidimos apelar nuestro caso el 25 de junio de 2020. Mientras escribo esta carta, no he tenido noticias del Ministerio de Trabajo, pero espero y espero una respuesta positiva pronto. <\/p>

En el mes de junio, me diagnosticaron H.Pylori, una bacteria estomacal que causa \u00falceras p\u00e9pticas. Esto causa muchas molestias en el est\u00f3mago, incluidos los v\u00f3mitos. PTL Estoy tomando medicamentos y estoy mucho, mucho mejor. <\/p>

PETICIONES DE ORACI\u00d3N<\/span> <\/h3>

\u2022 \u00danase a m\u00ed en oraci\u00f3n por la iglesia en Tanzania. Los pastores y los miembros de la iglesia est\u00e1n luchando econ\u00f3micamente, incluso por las necesidades b\u00e1sicas debido a COVID-19.
\u2022 Ore para que mi visa de trabajo salga positiva y pronto.
\u2022 Ore para que esta bacteria se elimine de mi sistema. <\/p>
