\"Baptism<\/a>The people of Nepal are suffering greatly in this season, with one disaster piled on top of another. COVID-19 cases are rising rapidly, with many deaths. Because of this, the government has imposed total lockdowns in the major cities, creating severe hardship for families who survive on daily wages. On top of this, the monsoon rains have brought flooding and landslides to the mountainous village areas.<\/p>\n

Thanks to donations to the COVID-19 International Relief Fund, World Missions has been able to send funds to assist our pastors in this crisis. Pastors, in turn, are using these funds to provide help for their local communities. We have received reports that these acts of generosity have opened doors to sharing the gospel, and opened hearts to receive the good news. Outsiders who have been taught to view Christians with suspicion are now seeing the love of Christ in action. Many new believers are being baptized as a direct result of this relief ministry.<\/p>\n

"Buenas noticias de IPHC Living Israel"<\/strong> <\/h2>

Cuando los pa\u00edses del mundo entraron en el bloqueo de COVID-19, las empresas cerraron y muchas perdieron sus trabajos. Nuestro trabajo en Israel se llama IPHC Living Israel<\/strong><\/a> , y est\u00e1 dirigido principalmente a un segmento de la sociedad que es ignorado por la mayor\u00eda: drogadictos, alcoh\u00f3licos, personas sin hogar, ancianos y sobrevivientes del holocausto. Cuando se llega a muchos de ellos, van a un centro de rehabilitaci\u00f3n de drogas y luego a la Escuela B\u00edblica. Finalmente, un buen n\u00famero de ellos se ofrecen como voluntarios para las oportunidades de ministerio cuando se vuelven contra los creyentes. Ahora hay 33 ubicaciones y todas funcionan como iglesias, la mayor\u00eda en grandes casas alquiladas en todo el pa\u00eds. Tenemos un gran lugar de reuni\u00f3n de la iglesia para 450 personas en Haifa, pero est\u00e1 cerrado debido al COVID-19 (el alquiler a\u00fan se debe pagar cada mes). <\/p>

Los fondos de ayuda internacional de IPHC COVID-19 han sido de gran ayuda para mantener en funcionamiento los programas de rehabilitaci\u00f3n y alimentaci\u00f3n. Por lo general, esta es una operaci\u00f3n autosuficiente ya que todos TEN\u00cdAN<\/strong> trabajos seculares. Ahora, necesitan $ 10,000 al mes para reemplazar esos trabajos perdidos. <\/p>

\"Centro<\/a> La BUENA NOTICIA<\/strong> es que acabamos de abrir nuestro primer centro de rehabilitaci\u00f3n \/ casa segura \/ iglesia para mujeres ( ver imagen<\/em> ). Gracias a una donaci\u00f3n de $ 8,000 de Carolina del Norte, este lugar marcar\u00e1 una gran diferencia en vidas preciosas. Esta semana, me dijeron que est\u00e1n listos para la plantaci\u00f3n de otra iglesia \/ centro de rehabilitaci\u00f3n y han bautizado a 30 nuevos creyentes jud\u00edos en el r\u00edo Jord\u00e1n, y m\u00e1s para bautizar. Esta nueva ubicaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 en Migdal Emek, en el valle de Megiddo. <\/p>
