DEAR FRIENDS,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A lot has happened here in Belgium over the past few months! We are in the process of launching our new church plant in our target city, Eupen. The new church is called The Bridge ('die Br\u00fccke' in German). Our purpose is to connect people to God through Christ and to connect people to people in our local fellowship.<\/p>\n

On September 1, 2020, we signed a one-year rental contract. We are renting the bottom floor of this building. It is relatively small, 70 square meters, but has a kitchenette, bathroom, office, and two larger rooms, where we will hold our Sunday services, prayer meetings, and small group meetings during the week. As God adds to the church, we will need a bigger venue for our Sunday services.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Pictured here, with our Eupen team, are Pastor Bill and Gretchen Schwartz, along with members from our sister church in Antwerp. They came to join us in prayer and dedicating the building on September 6, 2020. Thank you to Pastor Bill, director of our Belgian Conference, CrossPoint Ministries, for organizing this, bringing your team, and making us feel like a part of the Belgium Conference.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Outreach in the Park<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

\"Games<\/a>Over the past six weeks, we have held Sunday afternoon outreaches in the local park. We take a corn hole game, and it draws many people. After meeting and talking with people in the park and often praying with them, we have a time of singing praise and worship songs followed by a Bible study. Our new building is located across from the park. We have invited many we've met and prayed with to join us when we launch our first services in the new building on Sunday, October 4, 2020. We will have German services each Sunday at 10:30 AM and English services at 4:00 PM.<\/p>\n

We are placing our trust in Jesus, who said, \"I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it\" to oversee all aspects of this new church plant. Please keep us in your prayers as we develop a leadership team to advance His kingdom here in the German-speaking region of Belgium.<\/p>\n

The Lord quickly provided start-up funds for the rental security deposit, new chairs, and tables. Also, through some very generous gifts, we have funds to cover our first year's rent. If you would like to support this new church planting effort, World Missions Ministries has established the 'Belgium Eupen Church Plant #37103P' account for this project.<\/p>\n

More importantly, are your prayers for souls to be saved, that many will be born into the family of God. Thank you for your faithful support, keeping us on the field, enabling us to serve the Lord as your missionaries.<\/p>\n

Jack graduated from high school in June. He has accepted full-time employment working in the Tax-Assessors office in Woodward County. He plans to use his scholarship funds to pursue online studies.<\/p>\n

QUERIDOS AMIGOS,<\/span><\/strong> <\/p>

Es primavera en Alemania, todo vuelve a ser verde y el ciclo de la vida comienza de nuevo. Al igual que usted y las personas de todo el mundo, nos enfrentamos a nuevos desaf\u00edos para adaptarnos a la pandemia del virus Corona. Nuestra oraci\u00f3n por ti es: "Que Dios te prospere y te mantenga en buena salud, incluso mientras prospera tu alma". <\/p>

Aunque ha estado en vigor una orden de quedarse en casa, el gobierno alem\u00e1n permite a las personas salir afuera para necesidades esenciales como alimentos, combustible e incluso ejercicio (por supuesto, entendiendo que seguir\u00e1 las regulaciones de distanciamiento social). <\/p>

EVANGELISMO EN BICICLETA<\/strong><\/span> <\/p>

Una cosa que disfruto hacer es lo que llamo "Evangelismo en bicicleta". Justo detr\u00e1s de nuestro apartamento hay un carril bici que recorre 75 millas a lo largo de una antigua l\u00ednea de ferrocarril. Cientos de personas viajan en esta avenida todos los d\u00edas. Mientras conduc\u00eda por la avenida, Dios me ha dado la oportunidad de compartir el evangelio con muchos ciclistas que se han detenido a descansar en el camino. Ofrezco orar por la gente y luego darles un "Evangelio de Juan". Esta buena semilla, creo, caer\u00e1 en buenos corazones y producir\u00e1 fe en Cristo. \u00a1Su Palabra no volver\u00e1 vac\u00eda! <\/p>

\"Evangelizaci\u00f3n<\/a> <\/p>

ESTUDIO B\u00cdBLICO PARA REFUGIADOS EN B\u00c9LGICA<\/span><\/strong> <\/p>

En enero comenzamos un estudio b\u00edblico semanal con una pareja paquistan\u00ed que vive en un centro de refugiados de la Cruz Roja en nuestra ciudad objetivo, Eupen, B\u00e9lgica. Antes del encierro, cada jueves, ten\u00edamos momentos preciosos para conocernos, comer juntos, estudiar la Palabra y orar juntos. Las fronteras de B\u00e9lgica se cerraron a mediados de marzo. Como vivimos en Alemania, ahora no podemos cruzar la frontera para estar juntos. Continuamos alentando y compartiendo devocionales y escrituras a trav\u00e9s de Internet y esperamos que se levanten las restricciones y estemos juntos nuevamente. <\/p>

LA ESQUINA DE JEANNIE ~
BELLEZA PARA LAS CENIZAS - DIFUSI\u00d3N EN EL DISTRITO DE LA LUZ ROJA<\/span><\/strong> <\/p>

El barrio rojo de Aquisgr\u00e1n ha estado cerrado durante m\u00e1s de un mes. Algunas de las mujeres regresaron a sus pa\u00edses de origen para estar con sus familias durante este tiempo de distanciamiento social. <\/p>

Sin embargo, muchos otros est\u00e1n encerrados con sus proxenetas, donde contin\u00faan siendo explotados en l\u00ednea y se ven obligados a trabajar en lugares y situaciones horribles e inseguras. Muchas ni\u00f1as son alojadas juntas, obligadas a trabajar, por lo que est\u00e1n expuestas a enfermedades y abusos. Ore por su seguridad y salud, f\u00edsica, emocional y espiritualmente. <\/p>

LANZAMIENTO DE UN NUEVO ALCANCE EN L\u00cdNEA<\/span><\/strong> <\/p>

"Si los clientes pueden encontrar mujeres publicitando en Internet, \u00a1nosotros tambi\u00e9n podemos!" Incluso antes de la pandemia, ha habido un aumento en la publicidad en l\u00ednea para la prostituci\u00f3n. En febrero, Jeannie asisti\u00f3 a un "Taller de divulgaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea" para aprender c\u00f3mo los dem\u00e1s son efectivos usando herramientas modernas que tenemos a nuestra disposici\u00f3n (computadora, Internet y mensajes de texto por tel\u00e9fono) Escuchamos de formas exitosas de comunicarnos eficazmente con las damas, organizar horarios \/ formas para luego reunirse con ellas, dar una canasta de regalos y compartir el amor de Cristo. <\/p>

FIN DE SEMANA "CONSTRUYENDO UN ALTAR"<\/span><\/strong> <\/p>

En marzo, antes del cierre, pudimos organizar dos eventos especiales para mujeres. Nuestra oradora invitada, Barb Swanson, Victory Church OKC, nos anim\u00f3 y desafi\u00f3 a cada uno de nosotros a trav\u00e9s de la Palabra de Dios y con su propio testimonio de lucha y superaci\u00f3n victoriosa de los desaf\u00edos que todos enfrentamos. \u00a1Fue un momento muy especial para todos! Gracias por sus oraciones durante el "Caronatime". Esto tambi\u00e9n pasar\u00e1. \u00a1Recuerda que eres un vencedor a trav\u00e9s de Cristo que te fortalece! <\/p>
