In honor of the first anniversary of the death of Jackie Hess on July 2, 2020, World Missions Ministries, in consultation with Rev. Hans Hess and their daughters Sarah and Alex, would like to announce that the funds from World Missions Ministries Jackie Hess Memorial Fund #98005P<\/strong><\/span> will be designated to the development of IPHC\u2019s first multi-use campus in Nepal in her honor and memory.<\/p>\n

The proposal for the headquarters complex is as follows. It will be a multi-use facility. Several rooms will serve as offices for the headquarters of IPHC Nepal and living quarters to house the chairman and his family, guest quarters, a large meeting space to serve as a training facility, and a coffee house for pastors and visitors. This facility will be on a plot of land large enough to accommodate gatherings for training seminars, schools of ministry, and motorcycle parking.<\/p>\n

The total cost of the project is estimated at $390,000.\u00a0We are currently targeting a piece of property outside of Kathmandu, Nepal.\u00a0Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and home to a population of 1,003,285 persons.<\/p>\n

\u201cJackie was a remarkable lady that lived life to the fullest.\u00a0 She exuded joy and made everything fun for those around her. She is greatly missed by all who knew her. Missionaries Chase and Kristina Granstaff are from the Fountain of Life Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, that Pastor Hans and Jackie Hess pastor\/pastored. Fountain of Life continues to assist WMM in targeting Unreached Countries\/People Groups.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Joshua Project<\/em><\/strong> lists the total population of Nepal as 29,551,000. It also reports that 26,694,000, or 90.3% of the population, are designated as Unreached. The largest religion in Nepal is Hinduism (83.4%). It also estimates that there are 1.3% Christian Adherents in Nepal. In other words, Nepal is ripe for the harvest!<\/span><\/p>\n

Rev. Danny and Judith Williams, IPHC WMM\u2019s national director of Nepal, recently confirmed IPHC\u2019s official\/legal registration with Nepal in writing on March 3, 2021: \u2018We have everything we need to operate as a church; national legal status, church ordinances, ceremonies, holiday and festival special services, [and] financial help from outside of Nepal. [We are] working with other NGO\u2019s and all IPHC groups internationally; we can do social programs, medical teams, [and] ministry teams in the name of the church; we can license and ordain; we can set up orphanages, community centers, disability centers, schools, seminaries, and training meetings. This is nothing short of miraculous. It is an immense agreement with a Communist Government in a Buddhist nation, with many Hindu radicals still in charge. We have a five-member National Board with Ashok Lama as chairman. We have set up a 42-member team nationwide, with seven (7) Province Directors, ten (10) Department Heads, and the rest are pastoral advisory teams.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nepal IPHC has 509 churches as of June 2021, with 530 pastors registered in total, representing over 29,000 members nationwide.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"La<\/a>Valley Harvest Ministries (VHM) en la Conferencia de los Apalaches proporciona un estudio de caso sobre los beneficios de formar una sociedad entre la iglesia local y el campo misionero.<\/p>

Los misioneros Jeff y Verna Willhoite se convirtieron en miembros de VHM despu\u00e9s de haber ingresado a la IPHC desde otra organizaci\u00f3n misionera. Naturalmente, VHM apoy\u00f3 financieramente a los Willhoites, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n ayud\u00f3 a otros misioneros y varios proyectos. El enfoque de sus esfuerzos ha sido el Centro de Discipulado del Mekong (MDC), una instalaci\u00f3n para capacitar a l\u00edderes, pastores, plantadores de iglesias y misioneros para Tailandia, Myanmar, Laos y China. Los equipos anuales de VHM realizan capacitaci\u00f3n en liderazgo y \/ o trabajos de construcci\u00f3n en la instalaci\u00f3n.<\/p>

Junto con la junta de misiones de la iglesia, el pastor Steve se ha fijado la meta de recaudar $ 10,000 durante el a\u00f1o para el proyecto MDC. \u201cSobrenaturalmente, la financiaci\u00f3n siempre entra, al igual que los gastos de viaje para aquellos que han viajado al campo\u201d, dice. Chang, un hombre de muchos talentos y mucho celo, comparte su visi\u00f3n con el pastor Steve y lo busca en busca de orientaci\u00f3n y aliento. \u00bfC\u00f3mo ha afectado esta asociaci\u00f3n a la congregaci\u00f3n local de VHM? \u201cEstoy convencido de que Dios ha puesto su mano en nuestros esfuerzos y nos ha bendecido enormemente al obedecer su mandato de llevar el evangelio a todo el mundo\u201d, dice el pastor Steve. \u201cTailandia est\u00e1 lo m\u00e1s lejos posible de Dublin Virginia, sin embargo, el Se\u00f1or ha extendido el ministerio de VHM literalmente al otro lado del mundo. Me siento tan bien con esto como con cualquier cosa que hayamos hecho durante 44 a\u00f1os de ministerio a tiempo completo ".<\/p>
