Spring is here and it\u2019s always a pleasure to welcome a new season as it brings with it new challenges and new perspectives. Coming out of a stage of cold and dryness to a stage where flowers and nature are dressed in new colors is very encouraging. While we continue to face challenges in every season of our lives, our confidence is, in holding onto God's hand, we can find the courage to move forward fighting the battles and remembering the words Moses wrote: \"The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace\u201d (Exodus 14:14).\"

Last month, we celebrated International Women's Day and, at the Oasis Center, we took the opportunity to give the girls of the red-light district a bag of delicious Belgian chocolates. They were delighted with the gift. Our presence week after week has built a strong bond with the girls. They now talk more easily to us about their problems giving us the opportunity to pray for their needs.<\/p>\n

We continue to share devotionals with them and, although some of them do not come to the center, they tell us that they enjoy receiving the devotionals via WhatsApp. Our prayer is that the Word of God will reach their hearts and do the work for which it was sent. \"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it\" (Isaiah 55:11).<\/p>\n

My participation in the local church continues to grow and although our interest is to prepare a new generation so that they can take the place of leadership, it has still required that the pastoral team continues to build the lives of the members who really have little time in the Lord. It is interesting to see how new people always come attracted by the \"music\" or the family environment we have, which can be felt immediately when someone enters this place. May God continue to draw souls that His house may be filled!<\/p>\n

Last month, I also had the privilege to share the Word of God at the ladies' conference of the Brussels Christian Center Church, located in Waterloo. It was an extraordinary experience, and the women were encouraged to march on with courage<\/span><\/strong><\/em> in their Christian life. It was also very gratifying for me to meet certain women whom my husband and I ministered to in the past. We recalled with pleasure the enriching experiences we had together, reminding me that the work we do for the Lord is never in vain.<\/p>\n

\"Lulu<\/a> \"The<\/a><\/p>\n

This month, I will be attending to some aspects of my health that I haven\u2019t had the opportunity to address. Now that my paperwork is in order and my insurance is up to date, I have been able to have a medical checkup and I have some tests that require hospitalization for one day. I ask for your prayers that everything is carried out in the best way and that the results reveal the treatment that I must follow to attack the discomfort that I have been having for some months. Our lives are in the hands of the great physician.<\/p>\n

I want to thank you again for your financial and spiritual support, which month after month I have received. Your support is vital for the work of the ministry and for the gospel of Jesus Christ to continue to be preached in this country. God bless you!<\/p>\n

Saludos a ustedes en el poderoso nombre de Jesucristo nuestro Se\u00f1or y Salvador. S\u00e9 que has estado en cuarentena durante mucho tiempo debido a COVID19. Mi oraci\u00f3n ha sido para que Dios Todopoderoso te proteja y te mantenga seguro y fuerte. <\/p>

EL PROGRESO DEL TRABAJO EN EL CAMPO DE LA MISI\u00d3N<\/span> <\/h3>

He supervisado el trabajo de perforar un pozo en una de nuestras iglesias de PH en una comunidad llamada Mvumi. Esta iglesia est\u00e1 en una comunidad donde el agua es un bien escaso. Normalmente compran agua en cubos. Estaban muy contentos y agradecidos por el agua limpia. Gracias, Rev. Lloyd Ackerman, y los santos de la Unidad Christian Fellowship Church por apoyar este proyecto. <\/p>

La iglesia de Mvumi no ten\u00eda paredes cuando Mrema se fue a su casa, pero comenzamos los trabajos de construcci\u00f3n en febrero, y ahora las paredes est\u00e1n levantadas. \u00a1Gloria a Dios! Gracias, SC Conference, por ayudar con este trabajo. Cuando el virus desaparezca haremos el piso y el yeso. <\/p>
