Warm Missions Greetings!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Soon, my feet will be stateside for a six-month furlough. This time in the States will allow me to connect with you and focus on resetting so that I can serve effectively for three more years on the field. I will aim to be back on the field in January 2023. Thank you for partnering with me in His work to reach the unreached and disciple people so they can disciple others in the Southern Africa region.<\/p>\n

\"The history of missions is the history of answered prayer\" (Samuel Marinus Zwemer). Therefore, children and their families are being mobilized to pray for the unreached people groups around the world. Parents are becoming equipped to parent with a global vision, and they are learning about children and the Holy Spirit. This development will change the world's status, and it will change history.<\/p>\n

More than 5,000 children were mobilized this past June and have been encouraged to continue praying. They plan to meet again globally through Zoom next year to ask God to give us the nations (Psalm 2:8 & Psalm 8:2). I was in Mauritius this June, and the area took part in this mobilization for the first time, and 140+ kids participated from all over Mauritius. During this event, they gathered and learned how to pray for the unreached people groups.<\/p>\n

\"Children<\/a><\/p>\n

Mauritius, an island east of Madagascar, now has seven IPHC church plants in it. In August 2019, I visited for the first time to meet the evangelist and church planter family, Rev. Leopold, his wife, Joyce, and their children. It was then that training began in child evangelism programs to develop the children's ministry in this area. My second visit was October-February 2020, and I recently spent May-June 2022 on the island. At first, only five areas were evangelized. Now, there are nine areas, and by the end of the year, kids clubs will be running in 12 areas.<\/p>\n

\"Althea<\/a><\/p>\n

See the marked areas on the map of Mauritius, and pray with us for a continued breakthrough in these areas. Currently, drug lords control the communities, and alcohol paralyzes the fathers and families. During this past month in June, 20 children's workers began training as I teamed up with Child Evangelism Fellowship. We were able to teach the team to continue the work while I am on furlough.<\/p>\n

\"A<\/a><\/p>\n

When I arrive back in Mauritius in January, the training will continue at the next level to focus lessons on spiritual growth. Then, we will focus on families growing in the knowledge of God and in maturity. Twelve key leaders were recently trained to begin a discipleship-making movement, and they learned to facilitate Discover Bible Study groups. Children were included to learn with their families. I will also visit Madagascar in January to support needed development and help them reach the unreached children and families in that country.<\/p>\n

In June, South Africa's newly elected children's ministry directors gathered on Zoom with me to plan the way forward for strategies in our post-covid ministry work. During this time, we reset action plans, targeting to reach every unreached and unchurched child. Pray as these directors plan to be vigilant in bringing His lost lambs into the Church. We desire to disciple them and equip them to be a part of the Great Commission with their families.<\/p>\n

\"Althea<\/a><\/p>\n

The goal within each nation is to develop an organization for Christian Child Development (CCD) with effective children ministries, organizations, institutions, and movements. We desire to work with children to become a voice in each nation and protect them against evil schemes as they become God's vessels and leaders to bring change and order with God's direction.<\/p>\n

The country Malawi is currently at this level! In October 2021, the first meeting was called with all representatives of denominations and organizations working with children in Malawi. A draft profile for the organization began to develop to include a variety of circumstances that children face and opportunities to develop.<\/p>\n

Just in the past two weeks, the nation was shocked by villages reporting about a Chinese man and his abusive behavior. The CCD stepped in and, with the Malawi Police Force, he was arrested. At last, children caught up in evil have an organization to advocate for them. God is using the hearts of people with a passion for child development to be a force, taking hands to make way for every child to be protected and to know and grow in Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Daily, we need to strengthen ourselves to be advocates for missions. This is a command to all believers. Here is an opportunity I used and want to share about www.globalcastresources.com.<\/p>\n

In February 2020, I began training with SOMA (School of Mission Advocacy). Now, I am a coach and mentor in this course. It is presented in Malawi by a national advocate for missions who took the course. This advocate is now implementing it locally, mobilizing church leaders to prepare their plan with biblical principles to take on missions and send missionaries to the unreached people groups. He and his wife are also being trained in child evangelism to reach kids in his areas. Pray for the anointing to empower the work and provision for his call.<\/p>\n

\u00a1Diciembre es una \u00e9poca de celebraci\u00f3n de por qu\u00e9 naci\u00f3 Cristo! Les deseo a ustedes y a sus familias una temporada bendecida de celebraciones. Que su unidad en la fe aumente y se fortalezca al expresar nuestro agradecimiento por la vida de Cristo, demostrando el amor de Dios por nosotros. Naci\u00f3 el salvador del mundo, y mientras se cuenta esta historia, recemos juntos para que, en esta temporada, muchos m\u00e1s lleguen a la salvaci\u00f3n. <\/p>

En el Hospital Ortop\u00e9dico Infantil Cure en Blantyre-Malawi, los ni\u00f1os escucharon una lecci\u00f3n sobre el tema, "Cristo naci\u00f3 para salvarme" de Mateo 1: 18-24. Antes de dejar a los ni\u00f1os, cada uno recibi\u00f3 una Biblia para ni\u00f1os en su propio idioma, el chichewa. Oren mientras estos ni\u00f1os llevan las buenas noticias a su pueblo. Diciembre es un buen mes para unir a los j\u00f3venes. El reverendo Joe Delport, director regional para \u00c1frica del Sur, plane\u00f3 con el equipo de The Awakening hacer exactamente eso. Al principio podemos ver solo una peque\u00f1a nube del tama\u00f1o de un pu\u00f1o, pero realmente, deber\u00edamos ver una inundaci\u00f3n como Elijah que se desatar\u00e1. \u00a1Dios est\u00e1 listo para construir a su pueblo como una virgen de Israel para dar a luz a lo que le dar\u00e1 gloria a Dios! Alegr\u00e9monos mientras Dios trabaja en su pueblo para la preparaci\u00f3n de esta temporada espiritual para inundar la tierra con su gloria. <\/p>

Los l\u00edderes de cada naci\u00f3n para el IPHC son claves fundamentales que ayudan a las iglesias a desarrollar ministerios efectivos para los ni\u00f1os con programas para involucrar a los ni\u00f1os en actividades de divulgaci\u00f3n, misiones y oraciones por grupos de personas no alcanzadas. El reverendo Joe Delport est\u00e1 ayudando a llevar estos folletos a los l\u00edderes para que adopten los ministerios de desarrollo de estrategias y fruct\u00edferos para los ni\u00f1os. Pasar\u00e9 esta Navidad en Malawi, \u00c1frica Central, donde estoy radicado por ahora. Luego me preparar\u00e9 para mi vuelo de Malawi a Mauricio. Pasar\u00e9 tiempo en Mauricio durante parte de enero y febrero de 2020 para trabajar con estudiantes que fueron capacitados durante septiembre de 2019. Luego, en la ciudad capital, un grupo de iglesias reci\u00e9n establecido quiere estar equipado para llegar a los ni\u00f1os de la comunidad. Este ser\u00e1 el momento adecuado para comenzar a escribir la doctrina b\u00edblica de los ni\u00f1os, y ver c\u00f3mo los ni\u00f1os responden a la lectura y el uso del recurso para construir verdades b\u00edblicas fuertes y desarrollar un sistema de creencias que los proteja contra la falsa doctrina. <\/p>

Que este a\u00f1o sea una gran temporada de cosecha. Que Dios nos use como un equipo de la Gran Comisi\u00f3n para alcanzar sus metas. Mantengo mi coraz\u00f3n centrado en Su voluntad (Mateo 18:14), porque no es la voluntad de nuestro padre celestial que ninguno de estos peque\u00f1os se pierda. <\/p>

\u2022 Agradezca a Dios por los j\u00f3venes del sur de \u00c1frica que asistieron a la conferencia The Awakening para surgir y guiar apasionadamente a sus grupos a desarrollar iglesias relevantes en sus comunidades, llegando a j\u00f3venes y ni\u00f1os mientras crecen como l\u00edderes estrat\u00e9gicos. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore por el trabajo en Mauricio, y que Dios abra las mentes y los corazones para llegar a los ni\u00f1os de la comunidad en Port Lois, la capital. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore para que los plantadores de iglesias se levanten y planten m\u00e1s iglesias en Mauricio. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore por los l\u00edderes nacionales, quienes compartir\u00e1n informaci\u00f3n que har\u00e1 crecer l\u00edderes apasionados del ministerio en iglesias y crecer\u00e1n las iglesias con un enfoque en las misiones. <\/p>
