It is with great joy that I write to you again to inform you of the activities I have been able to carry out this past month. The work in the Kingdom of God is so vast that the prayer we are exhorted to cry out to the Father to send out laborers into His harvest is still as necessary in this\u00a0present time as it was 2000 years ago.<\/p>\n

The Annual Convention of CrossPoint Ministries (the IPHC - Belgium) was held on September 3. The theme was Beyond the Walls <\/em>and the focus was to encourage the participants to go outside the four walls of their churches to reach souls. At the convention, I was honored to share the work Mauricio and I did at Le Phare Coffeeshop where we were able to welcome 40,000 visitors during our time there. Churches were established from that ministry. Those at the convention were encouraged by the testimony of the work to activate their faith and their creativity to reach out to those who would not easily enter a church. I was also able to share about the event we organized in Paris called Art sur Sc\u00e8ne<\/em> where we had the motto: Making the Invisible Visible<\/em>. This was an event that included art such as music, dance, and painting to present the gospel to the people.\u00a0 Another blessed part of the Annual Convention included the ordination of the leader of the children's ministry of The Bridge<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Lulu<\/a> \"The<\/a><\/p>\n

This month I started my Dutch classes at the University of Antwerp. It is an intensive course of 12 hours a week. It has been a challenge for me to go back to the classroom four times a week and share the lessons with young people who are my children's age. God has been very good to give me the strength and intelligence to assimilate this language. I must confess that it has been very exhausting to attend class every morning and continue attending to my responsibilities with the Church and the Oasis Center the way I have been doing all this time.<\/p>\n

\"Lulu<\/a> \"The<\/a><\/p>\n

I also started teaching the course Pneumatology<\/em> at Logos Bible School. It is only one class per month, but very intensive. The first session was held via Zoom because some\u00a0students were sick. It is amazing to see how the use of technology has helped us to continue to teach and preach the gospel, especially after the pandemic. We can safely declare that nothing will stop the Church of Christ from carrying out the Great Commission. To God be the glory!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"Lulu<\/a><\/p>\n

I am very grateful to the Lord for allowing me to pass the theoretical driving test. This is the first step, but the most difficult one, to be able to receive a driver's license in Belgium. The rest of the process is just a matter of a few weeks to finish with all the procedures required by this country.<\/p>\n

This month, I also witnessed the installation of the new president of the Federal Synod of Protestant and Evangelical Churches in Belgium. This institution acts as the governmental representation of 19 denominations, 570 churches, 14 works to the society, and 140,000 people. The important thing about this event is that it is the first time an evangelical person who is filled with the Holy Spirit and has a vision of unifying the work of the Kingdom of God in this country has been appointed as president. This country is so divided due to the differences between the two largest ethnic groups that make up this country: the Walloons, who speak French and are in the southern part of the country; and the Flanders, who speak Dutch and are in the northern part of this country. I have had the opportunity to work under the umbrella of this institution since we started our missionary work in Belgium, 23 years ago, and feel blessed to have known the newly appointed president for so long. The phrase with which he begins his work is, \"Today's unity and prayer are the keys for tomorrow's transformation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Prayer Requests:<\/strong>
\n+ For my Dutch studies so that I may soon be able to communicate effectively with the people around me and thus be more effective in the Lord's kingdom.
\n+ To be able to finish all the necessary paperwork to obtain my driver's license.
\n+ The person in charge of the Oasis Center has gone on a trip for the whole month of October leaving me in charge of the ministry. May the Lord give me the grace and wisdom to be able to carry on with the ministry we are doing to reach the girls\u00a0trapped in the sex\u00a0business.<\/p>\n

My prayer for you is that the Lord continues to bless your lives and continues to reveal his wonders every day.<\/p>\n

EL PROGRESO DEL TRABAJO EN EL CAMPO DE LA MISI\u00d3N<\/span> <\/h3>

He supervisado el trabajo de perforar un pozo en una de nuestras iglesias de PH en una comunidad llamada Mvumi. Esta iglesia est\u00e1 en una comunidad donde el agua es un bien escaso. Normalmente compran agua en cubos. Estaban muy contentos y agradecidos por el agua limpia. Gracias, Rev. Lloyd Ackerman, y los santos de la Unidad Christian Fellowship Church por apoyar este proyecto. <\/p>

La iglesia de Mvumi no ten\u00eda paredes cuando Mrema se fue a su casa, pero comenzamos los trabajos de construcci\u00f3n en febrero, y ahora las paredes est\u00e1n levantadas. \u00a1Gloria a Dios!
