SEASONS GREETINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the end of every year a new one begins, and life goes on. By the time many receive this newsletter, Phyllis and I will be back on the field ready to hit the ground running. The following will be some highlights from the field.<\/p>\n

Building Projects<\/b><\/p>\n

The Berea project is coming to completion. As we finish the tasked building, we can fully focus on the more important goal: training our ministerial leaders.<\/p>\n

West Coast Growth<\/strong><\/p>\n

Recently there has been a 17% growth rate for the IPAR Conference in 2023. All the numbers have not come in as of this writing, but so far, it is very positive.<\/p>\n

Holmes Bible College<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the reasons for the growth is proper training and evaluation. We are looking forward to getting back and fully participating in the task of helping younger ministers prepare for their calling and service. You\u2019re helping us will help them. Your prayers and giving do make a difference. Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n

\"Holmes<\/a><\/p>\n

Guatemala<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guatemala has experienced growth as well. We won't have more details until after the first of 2024. I was there last February for their elections and was asked to speak on church planting this coming February. I am looking forward to the meetings. The brother in the photo is the new superintendent, Walter Almaras.<\/p>\n

As mentioned in our last newsletter, this building is in San Luis. The building will be in memory of James and Joyce Ward for their love, dedication, and years of service. James and Joyce were personal friends of Phyllis and me. They left behind a good testimony. If all continues to go well, this building project will be completed soon as well.<\/p>\n

\"Guatemala\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Global Leadership Summit<\/strong><\/p>\n

On November 6-10, The Global Leadership Summit was held in Oklahoma City. Leaders from around the world gathered. Included is a photo of part of the Gulf Coast Region field leaders.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Belize and Advantage Bible College<\/strong><\/p>\n

Belize has for some time needed a robust ministerial training program. Due to lack of field personnel and workload, that goal was a challenge.<\/p>\n

We would like to extend Holmes to Belize. However, due to our commitment to excellence and the fact we lack the necessary people in Belize with the necessary degrees to teach, we are hindered currently to expand. Yet, expansion is in the forefront. Nevertheless, we do have another option, Advantage Bible College. We spoke with current president Bill Terry, and he has agreed to work with us. This will help us lay the foundation we need to go forward with the task of helping to educate and train our present and future leaders in Belize. This is a big plus for Belize.<\/p>\n

We are moving forward and gaining ground. The future is before us. All we need to do is seize the opportunity. Hallelujah!<\/p>\n

THE WORLD ACCORDING TO PHYLLIS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ron and I are blessed and don't mind saying it. This year we celebrate 50 years of marriage, over 38 years in ministry, 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Below is a photo of Amber's two boys.<\/p>\n

Yes, they are a handful. I wonder who they take after? We are blessed!<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking of Amber, she just finished working on her master\u2019s from Oral Roberts University. Amber, her husband, and the children are doing well.<\/p>\n

Through the years, we have been torn between the field and home. We enjoy our family and friends both at home and aboard.<\/p>\n

We also appreciate all of those who partner with us. Reaching the lost is a team effort. Doing our part to fulfill the Great Commission is life at its best.<\/p>\n

IN CLOSING<\/strong><\/p>\n

One day all will pass, and we shall see Him face to face. It still excites me to the point of wanting to run harder than we already do. Why? He is the reason we do what we do, just like He is the reason for the season.<\/p>\n

Hemos estado viajando en los Estados Unidos desde el 6 de diciembre de 2018, desde California hasta Carolina del Sur y del Norte. \u00a1Dios es bueno! \u00c9l siempre nos proporciona un lugar para quedarse y un autom\u00f3vil para usar para desplazarnos. Agradecemos a las siguientes iglesias que hemos visitado por su amabilidad, calidez, hospitalidad y generosidad: la Comunidad Internacional de Cristo, los Ministerios Cristianos de Berea, Jes\u00fas es el Se\u00f1or, la Iglesia de la Ciudad Cristiana, la Cruz a la Vida, la Palabra de Vida, la Iglesia Cristiana Filipina, Springfield PH Church, Laurinburg PH Church, Woodville PH Church, Abundant Life Church, Goose Creek PH Church y Brock's Chapel. Nos sentimos honrados y encantados de testificar de la bondad y la fidelidad de Dios. \u00c9l continuamente prospera y bendice el ministerio en Tailandia y los pa\u00edses vecinos (Laos, Vietnam y Myanmar). El 23 de diciembre, 24 budistas recibieron al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas durante la celebraci\u00f3n de la Navidad en nuestra iglesia en Don Muang, Bangkok. El 24 y 26 de enero, el pastor Steve Willis y Jim Cox de Valley Harvest Ministries en Virginia llevaron a cabo un seminario de liderazgo en el Centro de Capacitaci\u00f3n de Misiones Indo-China (Mekong Bible Training Center) en Mae Sai con la ayuda del Pastor Chi Chang, el Pastor Big Laddawan, y los misioneros, Doug y Jill Nelson. Fue un gran seminario al que asistieron 40 l\u00edderes provenientes de Tailandia, Laos, Camboya y Myanmar. El tema de la conferencia fue \"S\u00e9 fiel\". La construcci\u00f3n de la tercera fase del dormitorio en el Centro de Capacitaci\u00f3n B\u00edblica Mekong y la cafeter\u00eda en el Seminario Teol\u00f3gico de Tailandia est\u00e1n avanzando. Ambos proyectos deben completarse para obtener mejores instalaciones y programas de discipulado efectivos para nuestros estudiantes. Si desea ser parte de este esfuerzo, env\u00ede su contribuci\u00f3n a IPHC WMM, Oklahoma City con el n\u00famero de cuenta del proyecto designado: 74015 para MBTC y 74520 para TTS. Gracias a IPHC WMM, a la subvenci\u00f3n del Proyecto Antioch, a Valley Harvest Ministries en Virginia, a Bible Temple Church en Toledo, Ohio, y al Equipo de Construcci\u00f3n de Cornerstone por apoyar el proyecto MBTC. Agradecemos a nuestro director nacional, el Dr. Wallapa Wisawasukmongchol, por asistir a la sexta Asamblea Mundial en Chile, del 20 al 22 de febrero, para representar a Tailandia. Ella fue animada y tuvo un tiempo maravilloso con hermanos de diferentes partes del mundo. Damos gracias a Dios por su liderazgo. Tuvimos la suerte de participar en los eventos de comidas de la Gran Comisi\u00f3n de Carolina del Norte, dirigidos por Doug Bartlett, que comenzaron el 14 de febrero y se extendieron hasta el 7 de marzo (totalizando 12 reuniones). \u00a1Estas comidas estuvieron llenas de grandes personas, excelentes informes de misioneros, excelente comida, excelente compa\u00f1erismo y una gran oportunidad para que las iglesias se asocien con misioneros! Gracias a los representantes de IPHC WMM, el Dr. Terry Tramel y el Reverendo Brian Nix, por animar a las iglesias a ganar almas para Jes\u00fas en todo el mundo al apoyar a los misioneros y diferentes proyectos.
